*Walks through the years of dust and cobwebs* ...My God, the memories... *Rubs arm as I walk through the lonely abandoned threads and boards* This placed used to be so special to me and other fellow friends of mine...Never thought I'd find this place again... *Finds this thread about Awaken as a Bear*
For those visiting this place, it has long been abandoned. A shame, I know. The administrators disappeared long before any of us, and we moved to a new Brother Bear board where active mods could take care of it.
So if anyone still wishes to join an active Brother Bear board with some veterans of this place, you may go and join Awaken as a Bear and enjoy the roleplays and discussions of our favorite Disney movie, Brother Bear, and much more.
As for this place... *Leaves behind a few roses* May the Great Spirits allow this place to rest in peace...There's much good memories we all have in this place...

No one is accusing the administrator for the decline of the message board. There was many problems with it, no one was here to moderate it, and it just made it hard on many of us BB fans, especially since it was during the hype of the movie for all of us. It was big and active here. It's not like we can do much about it. We know everyone has a life. But you're stabbing at us (or more particularly me) when all I was doing was for the better of the members. The time I had here was fun while it lasted. But seriously, I didn't really post a plug to anywhere but in the general discussion at one point. I reminded users with my signature that many people are going to well-maintained forums now, rather than here. Why? Because no one is here to maintain it.
I'm terribly sorry for the incidences that may have happened in the administrator's life now, and I wish I could do something to help. Since you so kindly brought it up, you could possibly share what's going on. The only thing I COULD do was see if anyone would like to actually enjoy something at a BB fan board that's well kept. It's not our faults that the boards began to decline because of such inactivity and bugs and quarks is it? And like Truttle said as well, I'm not trying to point fingers at anyone. I just wish for some of us to have the best there can be.
Like I said, I haven't accused the mods or admins. It's just the result from their absence for more than a year or so. Sure, I feel sorry that they weren't here because they have problems in their own life. I'm not saying that they have GOT TO BE HERE NO MATTER WHAT.
And about you're comment about stabbin'... I try to make a good forum for everyone to anticipate actually going to and work my hardest on images and such, and AFTER asking for the opinion of others and for consent from others, and after SEVERAL tries of trying to get a hold of the staff of said board, and you call this rude and low? That really hurts me, because I don't think you know how much work I put into trying to make a good community of the entire fan base. I even put up exisiting roleplays that had been going on for so long, and I even put some of the ideas from this board. I apologize for ever even trying to help out, if that's the way you feel. It's all my fault, and I guess I shouldn't have even bothered trying to make something for all of us to enjoy.
I also see that some use this board still. That's fine. In fact, I think it's actually awesome people still come here, and I see some of the stuff has been updated. I didn't realize that really until recently a few months ago. And you know, I wouldn't mind too much if everyone just used this board again, and not just mine. But not everyone can go to two message boards, three message boards, four all at once. Plus there's a matter of prefrence. If you prefer to RP, continue discussion and have fun here, then great.
And one more thing: I never said you HAD to come to my boards. I never said that there was NOTHING AT ALL here. I come every so often and see if this board's still up and going because I still like it. It's where I first posted and got new friends.

I’d like to sincerely apologize. It wasn’t my intention to place blame or sway any new members from joining the forum by redirecting them to that other one. It’s not even mine. It was a slip up. I certainly would love to see more members become as active as if used to be. I don’t blame the low inactivity to the absence of the administrators. But I will point out that these boards did suffer technical problems that made it difficult to continue roleplaying. So a change was needed since there was no other option. I’m sorry if I seemed rude.

Rutt clambers up on the bank and shakes himself dry. He's still coughing from the fumes lingering in the air around the pond and his eyes are indeed watering.
"There is no way I will ever play 'pull my antler' with you again, eh," he snorts, "That's just gross. Weapons like that oughta be illegal in these parts, eh."
