I look around the scenery as the mammoth keeps carrying me on his trunk, but the sun is starting to set, and nothing much to look at night. I decided to call it a day and climb back down the trunk to Kia.
"That was fun." I say as I climb down the mammoth's trunk.

I see the sun starting to set. Kirchy and I climb down the mammoth's trunk and sit on its head. I look and see the Northern Lights.
I say to Kirchy, "Look, you can see the spirits."
Kirchy looks and says, "Yeah, my whole family is up there. Except my adopted brother. I have no idea where he is."
I put my paw on Kirchy's and nuzzle her. Kirchy rests her head on my shoulder.
"I love you," I whisper to her.
Kirchy smiles, "I love you too, Koda."
We both watch the Northern Lights. It's beautiful.

I sit down next to Kia and watch the Northern Lights dance in the sky, it's beautiful beyond words, I've never seen such beauty. Kia nuzzles me, I nuzzle her and put my arms around her, she rests her head on my chest again and falls asleep. I stay up for a little while longer and watch the Northern Lights...Mother, Father, Kamali...are you watching me from up there? I wish I could see you again...I would do anything for a moment like that...
I look at Kia and hug her, holding her close, she's all I got...

Kirchy falls asleep in my arms. I yawn and remember what Ken'ichi told me. I have to take care of her. She doesn't have anyone else unless her brother comes back which is very unlikely. I have to do the best I can.
I lick Kirchy's face softly. I yawn again and close my eyes. Soon I am fast asleep.

I wake up and it is dark out. It is kind of scary. I look at everyone else and they are asleep. I look at the moon. I sigh. I fall back to sleep again.

I keep Kia in my arms a little while longer, but I'm getting sleepy and tired. I slowly lay Kia down next to me, I yawn and lay down next to Kia. I slowly close my eyes half-way, lick Kia's cheek and whisper, "I love you so much, Kia."
I close my eyes and lose consciousness...

I open my eyes and yawn. It's morning. I nudge Kirchy. She yawns and stands up. She begins walking and almost falls of the mammoth! I gasp and grab her before she falls of. Kirchy is fully awake now.
"What happened?" she gasps.
I laugh, "You almost fell of the mammoth. But I saved you."
Kirchy smiles and licks my cheek. I nuzzle her. I look around and See Kenai, Kia, and Ken'ichi just waking up. I look back at Kirchy and nuzzle her again. She does the same.

I wake up. It is morning. I ask,"Can we get off these things now?" I nuzzle Ken'ichi to wake him up.

I open my eyes to Kia's nuzzle, I nuzzle her as I get up on my feet and give a yawn.
"Morning Kia." I say sleepy.
I look around to see where we are, "Are we close to the salmon run?"

Kia asks, "Can we get off these things now?"
Kia wakes up Ken'ichi and he says, "Are we close to the salmon run?"
"Yeah," I nod. "We can get off now."
Kircy and I climb down the mammoth. I look at Kenai and see him climbing down the mammoth he was riding.

Kircy and Koda climb down the mammoth. Koda looks at Kenai and sees him climbing down the mammoth he was riding.
I get off the mamoth. I sigh greatfully.

Kia gets off first, then I get off of the mammoth and Kia sighs gratefully. I pad over to Koda and Kenai.
"Now where do we go?" I ask.

I jump unto Kenai's back then Kia jumps up. I sit up to have a better view of the ride as Kenai starts his track to the salmon run.
