"Guys? What way do we go from here?" Devon asks and looks around.
"Uh," I search the area. I see s path going through the forest. "That way," I say as I point to the path.

They say to go through a path in the forest, I nod. I look back to Kenai, he smiles at me, I smile back. Kenai's so cool.

Why is Koda and Kirchy so mean? I growl. I don't ever want to see them again! I ask Ken'ichi,"Why didn't you say anything before? Is it because you agree with them? Who would you rather have for a friend, Koda and Kirchy or me?"

As we walk on the path, I begin to think about Kia again. I growl to myself. Why is she so mean? Why does she always hurt Kirchy and me? Why does she take everything so personally and seriuosly? Why does she get so angry when we are just having fun? Why is she so mean? Why?
I don't kniw the answers to these questions. But I do know that Kirchy and my personality and Kia's personality don't mix very well. All Kirchy and I want to do is have fun, but Kia always ruins it by being mean. Why is she like this? Why is she so mean?

Kenai:
I pad along slowly, the cub are unusually quiet. It's slightly awkward as Kia askes Ken'ichi questions.
Devon:
I sigh to myself, Koda and Kirchy are still silent. "Heeeey, wanna play a game as we go along?"

I look up at Devon as she suggests to play a game on the way.
I nod, "Ok, what do you want to play?"

Koda asks what we wanna play. "Hm... Tag! Or... Oh! I have a great game! You start a story, then I continue it, then Kirchy finishes it! That'd be cool!"

I nod at Devon's suggestion, "Ok, what about you, Kirchy?"
Kirchy shrugs, "Sure, sounds good to me."

Koda asks if I wanna go first. "Okay... Well, there was this cub called Joey. Joey liked to swim! He went to the salmon run every day and lived real near it! Joey was a great swimmer and had to catch fish for his mama, who was home and ill, and his little sister, we'll call her... Kilana, Kilana was smaller than Joey but could swim just as good, but Joey's mama needed Kilana to look after her. But one day something terrible happened..."

I continue, "When Joey came home with fish, Kilana was gone! His mama said a wolf had come and stole her. Joey asked which way he went and his mama told him. But he couldn't leave because he had to take care of her."
Kirchy goes next, "But Joey saw and eagle and asked him to search for a wolf with a cub. The eagle agreed and flew off. Joey lay down and sighed. But then he saw a bear come out of the bushes. The bear was friendly and agreed to take care of Joey's mama while he went after the wolf who had Kilani."

I grin. "So Joey ran off after saying good bye to his mama. He bound off into a forest, he did! "Kilana! Kilana!" He cried, searching for his sister. He began thinking of what he'd do if he ever saw that mean ol' wolf. Joey growled to himself as he searched high and low for his little sister."

I say, "Joey looked everywhere for Kilani. But he couldn't find her. He was just about to give up hope when he saw the eagle fly down to him. He told Joey he saw a wolf and a bear cub heading to the mountain where the lights touch the earth. Joey thanked the bird and started off."
Kirchy smiled and continued, "Joey ran off to the mountain. He stopped by a berry bush and ate some berries. Then he continued on his way. He finally reached the mountain. He thought the wolf might have gone to the top. Joey gulped. "How am I going to get up there?" he cried."

I continue again as we walk through the forest. "Joey looked up, there was no way he would ever get up there! He looked around for a place to climb up, nothing! There was no where for him to try and support his paws if he wanted to climb, at least on this side of the mountain. He searched, there was a tree nearby, and an old log. Perhaps he could lean it up against the mountain to get to a ledge, where there was somewhere that he could climb up from. Or maybe there was an animal nearby who would help him... It was getting late though. Joey looked around for a place to rest his paws, perhaps he could think about it in the morning..."
