Life with Koda: Cont'd

[Nertuark]

I look in the direction of where the roar of pain came from, I hear humans shouting, then I see northern lights... what...? My parents told me that northern lights are spirits of those who died... Is... someone killed?

I run behind Sila, hiding behind her leg.

[Chasca]

I notice something bumped into my leg. Wha--? Oh...it's just Nertuark. I look away, rolling my eyes, Really, just because the northern lights have come out, there's shouting and a roar of pain, doesn't mean anything...oh wait, yes it does. Hmm...I wonder where Ken'ichi and Nikiski are.

I look at Nertuark and ask, "Have you seen Ken'ichi or Nikiski?"

[Nertuark]

I hear Sila asking me about Nikiski and Ken'ichi.

"They're in the woods..."

[Ken'ichi]

I look around a bit and look at the mountain...Siraki...

I look at Niki, "Hey Niki, how was your brother like?"

[Chasca]

"Ahh, okay," I say, nodding. "Well then, that couldn't have been them, and if so, they'll be fine. After all, they have those weird crystals, and if they were to be injured, they would heal themselves right up. As for the hunters, they probably freaked out or something like the idiots they are and ran off," I say cooly, because, well...that's probably what happened.

[Nertuark]

I turn to Sila.

"Really? I have to ask them to show me!"

[Nikiski]

I look at Ken'ichi, some what not expecting this type of question... but, I'd tell him anyways even if he didn't ask.

"Well... He's two years older than me... and since I was three we lived together. He looks very similar to me, just bigger and he has darker furs. He taught me a lot of things..."

I pause for a breath.

"Like... how to fish... you know, the way that's the most efficient... least effort with largest amount of catch..."

I look at a cave not far from here.

"Also, he taught me how to find a right cave... like, the ones that are not occupied... He taught me how to find the sweetest berries..."

I look at the sky.

"We used to live a bit up north, the weather is very similar to hear, but just a little colder..."

[Chasca]

"Uhm...yeah," I reply boredly. Suddenly I have an idea. With fake enthusiasm, I say. "Hey! Why don't you go and look for them so they can show you, hmmm?"

Of course I won't let him get hurt or anything...I'll watch him, without having him annoy me! I get behind him and nudge him with my paw. "Go on...go see if you can find them!"

[Nertuark]

"Oh, okay then."

I hop towards where I think I'd find them, but... I don't see bears.. I only see humans! They have all those sticks with them!

A hunter looks like he is mad, he throws the spear at me!!

"Aah!"

I turn around and run!

[Chasca]

Hmm...that should take care of him. I smirk at my brilliance, and just when I'm starting to relax I hear "Aah!"

"Oh, great," I grumble to myself. He must've gotten himself into trouble...but I can't just waste my time here. I'm already headed to where I'm guessing he went, and there I see...four humans?

"This just gets better, doesn't it?" I mutter to myself, as the pup bumps right into me. I roll my eyes. "...You'd better run," I deadpan, pushing him aside as the hunters advance. "And...try to get help, or somethin'" I say casually, dodging a spear while I'm at it.

My eyes widen and I don't look quite so bored though when they all advance on me and corner me against a...rock? What the heck? There's a rabid look in their eyes. Geez...greedy fools. I dodge another attack, but it seems these hunters are a tad smarter than the usual. While dodging one of the one on the left's attack, one on the right juts out his spear, which cuts me across my side. I yelp in pain, but it's certainly not enough to get me down. Besides, the adrenaline from the fight has got me...hyped up? Yeah, something like that.

I see an opening between the two in the center. Heh. I manage to run out, and I look to see if Nertuark's still around. Huh...well, I don't see him, but I smell him. At least he's not where the hunters can see him. Of course this act of stupidity gives the hunters the chance to attack again, and I barely dodge the spears. In fact it was so close I feel them graze at my fur.

As I bear my weight on my right side, I gasp in pain, remembering the injury. Pretty stupid of me to do that, actually. Not good. The blood's leaving my body fast...and I can't be this alert for too long. But that stupid kid Nertuark would be in danger if I were to give up...and despite him being tiring, and getting me into this mess...I can't let them get him. Then the pack idea would be over with.

"Nertuark...wherever you are, get help, now!" I say harsher than I intended, using every bit of strength that left of me to avoid being cut into pieces. I would run...in fact, I could right now. But, hey, my pride's at stake, thank you.

[Nertuark]

I gasp as Sila gets cut on her side, no! Then Sila tells me to get help... but where? I dash to another part of the forest, seeing Nikiski and Ken'ichi coming... I yell...

"Help, Nikiski, Ken'ichi, help!"

[Spectrum]

OOC: Alright guys, I think it is time for me to make my way back to the RP. I have no idea what is going on right now, and there is so many posts and stories...ug...I'll just begin by having Spectrue return now.

BiC:

After a long time of getting back to our temporary home in the northern area, me and Diamond were walking the friendly streets of Ice Corner, a residental and store populated area in the city. It seemed this was the only modernly advanced civilization out in the north. It wasn't abnormal to see a young fox boy and husky girl walking on two legs or four in this city. As long as we had clothes. Though the area was securely hidden in the inhabitinated area of the north, no wild life was ever disturbed, so you could you see many new things there.

"So..." I began, walking slowly with Diamond down the sidewalk. "Do you think we should pay a visit to the woods again and see if we find our friends again?"

"Well, as long as Space doesn't have a fit like he did when we arrived here..."

"Don't worry, I told Space we were going to be seperated for a while, so I arranged a small telepathy through my prism...it's a great wonder I learned while scouring the mountains, I just put off using it..."

"Oh really?" She chuckled.

"Yea, really. Anyway...wait.......I'm getting something from the prism..."

I looked at my nature bear prism glowing wildly. Something was up...I looked into it, and to my surprise, I saw a familiear face...!

"Is that...Ken'ichi?! He has a crystal of some kind too! Wow, these prisms pick up telepathic waves from all prisms of supernatural stature!"

"Whatever that means..." Diamond said plainly...

Twitching as I stared blankly at Diamond, I thought maybe she should take those intellegence classes I keep hearing about...something called school...oh well. I started deep into the crystal and yelped.

"KEN'ICHI!"

I saw his form startle and jumped up. I heard a voice ask "What is it Ken'ichi?!" He must of only heard me, noone else, since he holds the crystal.

"Ken'ichi, I'm sorry, did I startle you??"

"Who...who's there???" He said with a hesitant voice.

"It's me, Spectrue!"

"Spectrue?"

"Hey, Ken'ichi, who are you talking to?" I heard the voice again. It sounded like Niki...

"Ken'ichi, it really is me, I'm talking to you through possibly your crystal that I see in your possession. Look into it, you'll see me as I see you!"

I watched as he fumbled for it wherever it was. Diamond gave a smirk.

"So I guess we have no choice of seeing him, huh?"

"Guess not.." I smiled back. "He must of had his mind on me, that's why I felt his presence in the prism. I hope he's doing alright, as well as the others..."

I saw his face staring at mine from the prism, as he was probably looking into his own crystal. Good, he's learned a bit of telepathy. I'll learn him more when possible.

Grinning, I looked at him, Diamond behind me trying to look too, making herself visible. "Heya! Where'd you get that crystal, hum?" I awaited his response.

OOC: I hope I'm not interrupting anything important going on here...I see Ken'ichi has formed a brotherly bond with Niki...I also have a new song I made that represents our souls as friends in this RP. I'll show you that, along with my new art tomarrow when I sobber up from my poor experiance this night...

[Nikiski]

OOC~ Hey Spec, great to see you back...!

I'm just going to describe the fight briefly... as Ken'ichi can do a much better job than I can...

BIC~

I hear Nertuark yelling for help... we rush over, get done with the hunters, heals Sila's (and whoever's) wounds, then...

"Hey Ken'ichi, can I see that crystal for one sec?" Asks Nertuark.

"Yeah, sure!" Ken'ichi replies.

"Wooo that's cool!"

"Yeah, actually my friend Spectrue also has something like this..."

I hear someone calling Ken'ichi.

"What is it Ken'ichi?!" I ask.

Ken'ichi is talking to someone...

"Hey, Ken'ichi, who are you talking to?" I ask again.

[Kadzait]

As I wait for Talist to give her consent on the whole pack issue, I hear Sila tell Nertuark to go off and play. I grin, then after a couple of moments hear a frightened scream. My ears perked. The next thing I know, Sila is gone, as is Nertuark. My fur is bristling with an uneasy feeling, and I feel....pain....in my side again. I brush it off, and take off into the woods, picking up Sila's scent. I finally see her surrounded by four humans. She has been hurt in the side, and with a scowl on my face, I let out a long, droning howl. Silence. The humans have looked up from their former target, Sila, and were now staring grimly at me. Before they can react, I jump into action.

"Leave my friend alone!" I bark with a snarl, leaping at the nearest human. All my anger pent up inside booms out through my body, and I forcefully push him aside, charging to the next. One nicks my on my forepaw with a spear, but that doesn't stop me. I feel dozens of more spears prodding at me. Won't these guys take a hint? I'm not giving up! Neither, it seems, is Sila, who has rejoined the fight, probably, I can tell in her firey eyes, to prove she can take care of herself. We both charge the hunters, till, finally they realize they can't beat us, and turn tail and run. We chase after them a few yards, just to prove our point.

"Phew...you okay, Sila?" I ask her, shaking out my fur, wincing slightly from the wounds. Nikiski and Ken'ichi run into the clearing, along with Nertuark, who must've run for help. He sees us with wide eyes, and immediately uses that crystal of his to heal our wounds. My eyes widen.

"Oh....so is that how you did it earlier with me?" I say in awe. "That thing sure comes in handy!" I smile.


OOC: Sila, I hope it's okay I had you fight too, it just seems you would've attacked as well, knowing your character. If not, I'll fix it, or if you wanted to change anything in your post, I'll fix mine!

Oh Talist....where are you? Come out come out! hehe!

OOC: Welcome back Spec!

Heh, if you want I can describe the fight. ;D

Just as Niki and I were walking back to the others, I see Nertuark looking around frantically. He looks at us and yells for help.

I run ahead to Nertuark, "What's wrong Nertuark?" He tells us of humans attacking Sila, "What? Well c'mon, let's get going!" Nertuark leads us to Sila.

After the fight, Niki treats Sila's wounds with his crystal while I look around for any more hunters in the area.

"Hey Ken'ichi, can I see that crystal for one sec?" I hear Nertuark ask me.

"Yeah, sure!"

I hold out my crystal so Nertuark can see it. The sun's rays hit the crystal, making that rainbow effect again, Nertuark looks at it in wonder.

"Wooo that's cool!"

I look at the crystal and let it dangle around my neck, "Yeah, actually my friend Spectrue also has something like this..."

Spectrue...I wonder how he's doing...where is he?

"KEN'ICHI!"

I practically jump out of my fur, gasping hard from that huge scare. Niki asks me what's wrong. I didn't reply as I look around to find out where that voice came from.

"Ken'ichi, I'm sorry, did I startle you??" The voice again speaks.

"Who...who's there?" I asks pretty freaked out.

"It's me, Spectrue!"

I blink, "Spectrue?"

It is Spectrue, I can never forget that voice, that special tone I only hear from him. Niki asks me to who am I talking to, I guess he's not the only one thinking that, I'm practically talking to air here.

"Ken'ichi, it really is me, I'm talking to you through possibly your crystal that I see in your possession. Look into it, you'll see me as I see you!"

I take it out of my maine and hold it in my paw. I look at it, I could see him! Spectrue is in his fox form, wearing that fur-like item over his body, I look at Diamond, who's trying to make herself visible from behind him.

I see Spectrue grin, "Heya! Where'd you get that crystal, hum?"

I smiled back at Spectrue, "It was a gift from my brother, we found it when we were exploring together when I was small. He told me this crystal symbolizes our brotherhood. When I met up with him again on top of the mountain where the lights touch the earth, he must of gave the crystal some magic, allowing me to do many things such as this."

I look at the mountain and smile, then I look back at the crystal, "But tell me, where are you? Are you coming back any day now?"
