It's really good that Kadzait came during the fight. I mean, I wouldn't be one to admit it, but fighting four hunters alone can be quite tough. Two wolves, however, well...that changes things. Finally it seems the hunters give in and run. After chasing them a few yards, Kadzait asks me if I'm okay. Me? Okay? Of course I'm okay! It takes more than that to take me down. "Yeah...I'm fine--ow," I say, wincing and suddenly feeling a little stupid. Stupid pup...running off like that! I told him to stay--oh wait, no I didn't. Whoops.

Ken'ichi and Nikiski have come by now, and as my wounds are healed with one of those crystals, Kadzait looks in awe and makes a comment on them. "Yeah...they are," I agree, even though by now I'm not as amazed by them. I guess I got used to them. "Anyways...thanks..." I say, scratching the dirt with my paw.

Nertuark goes to look at Ken'ichi's crystal, but then Ken'ichi jumps and looks startles. All I can think is, huh? Oh, wait...he's talking into the crystal?! Something about Spectrue...does he miss Spectrue so much that he's gone insane and thinks the crystal is Spectrue? I think I can feel my eye twitch, and all I can do is stare at him.

[Spectrum]

Seeing Ken'ichi's face form into a smile, I listened.

"It was a gift from my brother, we found it when we were exploring together when I was small. He told me this crystal symbolizes our brotherhood. When I met up with him again on top of the mountain where the lights touch the earth, he must of gave the crystal some magic, allowing me to do many things such as this."

"Oh? That's interesting..." It seems the Spectral Prisms aren't the only crystals in the world with powers...But I suspect the spirits crystals are much different than my own... I watch as he looks at the mountain to symbolize that he's thinking of his brother... I could tell he was happy to see him again, I bet after all the past troubles he's had.

He then asks me, "But tell me, where are you? Are you coming back any day now?"

"Well...Wait a second...Are the others there?"
He nods.
"Okay, lemme see here...maybe I can focus this power and make it easier for the others to hear me too... Oh, and don't show them my face yet, I want them to still know me as the bear that had left. I'll save this form for a later time when I can trust everyone.." I held out my prism again, by now me and Diamond were sitting on a bench by the bushes around the gloves and antique stores. I centered my eyes on it and focused deeply, then with a small reply from my work,
"There...Can you guys hear me, all of you?"

Then I heard a couple of "who's there??" and "Is that..?"'s...

"Ha, it's me, Spec. I see you all are there too. It's nice to see you..."

But then Ken'ichi reminded me again of when I might be coming back...

" Well... Let's see here... I might be able to travel back there faster now that I know my way around that area... Where are you, exactly, do you know? If you pinpoint where you are, like your surroundings, I might be able to get back real fast."

I watched his face as he pondered and looked around him.

OOC: Thanks for the WB's. I need to scan some pictures so you know exactly what Spectrum looks like right now. brb...

[Ken'ichi]

Spectrue was about to tell me when he's coming back when he ask me if the others are there, I turn my head to the others to see them all looking at me like if I was going insane, especially Sila. I turn to see Spectrue in the crystal and nod, he then tells me that he'll focus some power to make the others hear him too, but he doesn't want me to have the others see him through my crystal as to keep his fox form a secret till he can fully trust everyone. I watch as he does his work on his prism or whatever he's using to see me through.

"There...Can you guys hear me, all of you?" Spectrue asks, trying to check if everyone can hear him.

I turn to the others to see them all startled, asking who's there and looking around. Spectrue assures them that's him talking, but I look back at my crystal.

"So, when are you coming back?" I had to ask him, I was anxcious and excited to see him again.

He asks me where I am and to pinpoint exactly where I am. I look around, taking note of my sorroundings. Taking note of the trees, mountains, and sky.

"Well...we're still in the zone of the salmon run, the river is not very far." I look around, "We're in the forest zone, kind of close to the mountain." I look at the mountain, "And if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure we're in the same zone we were when we found Diamond, just a little bit far from the mountain."

I take on more good look around my sorroundings, "Just make sure you hurry, alright?" I chuckle and look at Spectrue, "I can't wait to see you again..."

[Nikiski]

I watch as Ken'ichi talks to the crystal... wait, that sounds like Spectrue...

"There...Can you guys hear me, all of you?"

"That's Spectrue, right?"

"So, when are you coming back?" Ken'ichi asks as I move my head closer to the crystal.

"Well...we're still in the zone of the salmon run, the river is not very far. We're in the forest zone, kind of close to the mountain. And if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure we're in the same zone we were when we found Diamond, just a little bit far from the mountain. Just make sure you hurry, alright? I can't wait to see you again..." Ken'ichi finishes talking.

"Hey Spectrue, how is it going there? Come back real soon!" I talk into the crystal too, great idea! I can see Spectrue's face in the crystal!

[Kadzait]

My ears perk as I hear a familiar voice. Has he returned already? I look around for Spectrue, but I see him nowhere, but everyone is staring at Ken'ichi's crystal. Wha....? Is Spectrue speaking from...the crystal?! Things were becoming more and more confusing. Perhaps the spirits had played a role in this magical device. I shrug as I hear Spectrue continue to talk to Ken'ichi, and Nikiski is talking back to his friend. I turn to Sila.

"Ah, now where's Talist got to? Oy, I must've left her back in the clearing when I came to find you." I look around to see if Talist has followed us, but I see her nowhere. "I hope she agrees to start the pack, that would be great." I say, smiling as I said it. How nice it would be to be part of a group again. "C'mon, let's go get her!" I say to Sila.

[Nertuark]

After I finish look at the crystal...

"KEN'ICHI!"

What... the... the sound came out of the crystal...? I was terrified and run behind Kadzait...

[Spectrum]

Hearing that Niki could hear me as well as the others, I smiled.

"Heh. I will try my best to get back as soon as possible. I promise." I looked at Diamond. She had a bored look on her face.

"Whatta bout me? Are you-"

"Well...Diamond I think you should..."

"Should what? Come with? Or stay with Space?" She had a sneer in her voice..

"I uh...Ug..alrighty, Diamond, you can come too. As long as you don't stray off somewhere and get hurt.."

"I won't!" She said happily. "Let's go! Now! You know where they are, heehee!" She laughed happily and took my arm with her mouth and dragged me, making me drop my prism and lose contact with the others, as it dropped back in my shirt.

"Diamond!! Waaa-a-aaaait! OOF! Ow! Ack! Sorry!" I was being banged into other people and animals left and right as we hurried in the direction of the mountain and river...

[Ken'ichi]

I chuckle silently as Spectrue realizes his plan for everyone to hear him works, he looks at me and promises to return as soon as possible. But after he said that, Diamond starts bugging him if she could come with him. I laugh as Spectrue's plan of doing with Diamond gets cut off and Diamond persuades him, but Spectrue gives in, she's coming along with him. But her excitement made Spectrue drop his prism and the magic that whatever's keeping me in contact with Spectrue fails, leaving me looking at my crystal as its shine slowly fades out.

"Oh man..." I say as I let the crystal dangle around my neck, "Oh well, I'm pretty sure he'll try again later when Diamond calms down." I laugh at the thought, "I can't wait once he arrives..."

I feel a drop of water fall on my head, I look up and another drop fall on my nose, then a whole series of drops fall. Oh great, rain.

[Nikiski]

Rain starts to fall after we lose contact with Spectrue, ah well, I'm sure he'll be with us shortly...

Wait... Ken'ichi doesn't seem that he likes the rain that much... An idea comes to my mind.

I walk over the Ken'ichi, and I walk over him so that I have him under me. This will keep him from getting wet from the rain... I mean, I'm quite happy about the rainfall since it has been a while it hasn't rained...

"Ken'ichi, you don't like the rain?"

[Ken'ichi]

I look up as the rain pours down, the drops of water slowly dripping down my fur, wetting me with every drop. I feel some drops of water that falls on my scar on my right cheek running down it, like a rail of some kind. I growl in anger as I keep feeling the rain falling down on me, my claws tenses. And yet, I manage to control this anger, not the same as when I get into fights. Niki pads over to me and shields me from the rain by standing over me. I still feel uneasy in my mind and I sit down, all wet.

"Ken'ichi, you don't like the rain?" Niki asks.

I bury my claws into the ground and come up with an answer, "No...I don't..."

Niki asks me why and I deepen my claws into the ground.

"It just...just...I just don't like it, OK!!!"

I shouldn't have yelled at Niki, but I can't help it, the rain just upsets me and makes me angry...

"I'm...I'm sorry Niki, it's just...the rain just makes me uneasy...makes me think..."

I look to the left to see a torn fur-like item from the hunter's clothing, must've been torned off when they were fighting with Sila. I glare at it, making me remember again why the rain upsets me so much. I have to get out of the rain and into a dry place to free my mind.

"Should we head back to our cave Niki?" Please do so, I have to get out of this rain...

[Nikiski]

"Why, Ken'ichi?"

"It just...just...I just don't like it, OK!!!"

I'm surprised by how angry Ken'ichi is... may be I shouldn't have asked... but Ken'ichi softens up and apologizes.

"I'm...I'm sorry Niki, it's just...the rain just makes me uneasy...makes me think..."

Ken'ichi pauses.

"Should we head back to our cave Niki?"

"Sure."

Hopefully that will make Ken'ichi feel better...

"Hey guys," I tell the wolves and Koda. "wanna come to my cave with me? It just looks like that it's gonna rain for a little while."

So the whole group start walking towards my cave.

=== Arrival at the cave ===

It doesn't take long to get to my den. Great to be home again. I let Ken'ichi gets inside first, then I shake my fur dry at the entrance of the cave and so does the rest of the group. I lie beside Ken'ichi...

[Ken'ichi]

Niki aggrees to go back to the cave and I sigh in relief. We reach the cave and I quickly run to the back of the cave, shake my fur dry and lie down to try and relax. And yet, I still hear the rain falling, as if it's mocking me. I sharply close my eyes, trying to drown the sound of the rain fall, but all I get is more anger, not to mention getting sleepy. I feel Niki lying right next to me and I rub against his stomach, making me feel a little better. Niki then puts one his arms around me, trying to make me feel better even more, and it works. I still hear the rain, and I can feel the anger within me growing again, I open my eyes and stare at the cave entrance and watch the rain fall, and as I watch and again I growl in anger. I turn my head around so I'm facing Niki's body, taking my eyes off of everything just for a while. I then feel a drop of water slipping down my cheek, oh great, the ceiling is leaking. I wipe the drop of water from my face...wait a second, this isn't a rain drop, it's a...tear. But...I'm not feeling any urge to cry...

[Nikiski]

Ken'ichi rubs against my stomach. Then I then put my arm around him, trying to make me feel better even more. I hear Ken'ichi growling at the entrance in anger. Then he turns he head back facing my body and I see a tear roll down his cheek.

I move him closer to me, allowing him to dry his tear with my fur. I say with a soft tone.

"Ken'ichi, why are you growling? Does the rain remind you of something bad happened?"

[Ken'ichi]

Niki pulls me closer to him, holding me close and asks me why I'm growling and if the rain reminds me of something bad.

"Yes...You see, when my brother was killed by the humans, it started raining when I was running away to a cave for protection like my brother told me to, leaving him behind, only for the humans to score a kill. And when my mother and father were killed, it was snowing, so it practically was raining, only frozen water. And, I don't know why but, everytime it rains, it reminds me of those days, it upsets me and raises my anger and hatred toward the humans. They're..."

I pause to sniff, tears are falling down my cheeks, "They just love to kill bears and they don't care about us cubs. They even tried to kill me, but I was saved by another bear."

I glare at the falling rain outside, "Ever since then, the darkness in me overflows when rain comes down, it drives me angry and I try to control it by growling it out."

I look at the mountain, which is still visible even in rain, "I know that human village that took the lives of my family still exist at the base of that mountain, and when the time comes...I'll make them pay!"

OOC: Whoa, talk about letting your dark side out. XD

[Nikiski]

Ken'ichi tells his story. I can see why he is so angry when he sees rain... but... killing those humans won't make things change...

"Ken'ichi, you see... Killing those humans won't help... there isn't a need for revenge..."

Ken'ichi stands up.

"What?"

"Yes... killing those humans won't bring your family back to life, will it?"

"But..."

"No buts, Ken'ichi, leave those humans alone
... don't forget, my brother was killed by humans and I still don't blame them..."

"..."

"So... promise me... don't pick a fight with the humans... OK?"

"But... what if they attack us?"

"Only if they attack us, you can fight... but fight defensively..."

I look at Ken'ichi and wait for his reply...
