Life with Koda: Cont'd

[Ken'ichi]

I continue hugging Niki, I was so scare to see him that way, I thought he was going to die...

"That was amazing!" I hear Koda saying about Spectrue's technique.

"Yeah, it was pretty cool," I hear Kirchy aggreeing.

"Un... I dun...tink... I cun....get...up....to give...Niki a hug..." I hear Spectrue say, completely out of energy.

"Doesn't matter, Spectrue, don't feel bad 'bout it... You can hug me whenever you want to." Niki replies.

I chuckle, whatever Spectrue did to the Darksoul really worn him out. I get off of Niki to look at Spectrue completely out of energy, boy does he need a rest. Niki asks me to help him carry Spectrue back to the cave, I nod and help Niki in putting Spectrue on his back. But before we pad back to the cave with Spec, I notice that clear ball jerking back and forth, trying to get out.

"Oh no you don't..." I growl at it as I place my paw over the ball.

I pick it up and look deep inside, I can see that familiar pair of eyes, that mouth with Niki's blood enshiethed under the ball's surface...I can't believe this...this thing came from me. I glare at it and get close to the ball to have a better look, this Darksoul keeps looking at me as if it's trying to say something. I take my eyes off of it and turn around to catch up to Niki, who's inviting the girls to come along with us to our cave.

I glance at Kia to see she's still staring dreamily at me, I roll my eyes and pad alongside Niki with that ball that's containing the Darksoul in my mouth.

It didn't took long to reach the cave, Niki laid Spectrue down on the ground while I sat down and took the ball out of my mouth, holding it in my paws. I look at the ball, still can't believing this Darksoul was a part of me...but it's still is?

[Nikiski]

After laying Spec on the ground inside my cave, I sit next to Ken'ichi, watching him as he looks deep inside the ball.

"What's that Ken'ichi?"

Ken'ichi tells me that it is the darksoul trapped in there with Spec's force...

"Hhm... I wonder how we can deal with him though... this is not a permanent solution... When I was almost dead... I saw Siraki and you brother, Kamali... they said something about the bond between us... but I am not sure about how to work that..."

I sigh, staring at the cave wall... as if the answers are up there... and I start to think about between me and Ken'ichi... brotherhood and love... how is it going to work??

[Kirchy]

Ken'ichi grabs the ball with the Darksoul inside of it and we head to the cave. We get their pretty quick. Niki laid Spectrue down. Ken'ichi sat down and looks at the ball, holding it in his paws. Niki sits by him and stares at the wall. I walk over to Ken'ichi and sit down.

"How's it going?" I ask.

[Kia]

I walk over to Ken'ichi and go to sleep.

[Ken'ichi]

"What's that Ken'ichi?" I hear Niki asking me of this ball.

I took a deep breath, "It's my Darksoul. You see, After you got wounded by the Darksoul, Spectrue threw some energy balls that held the Darksoul down, and with the power of his prisms, he managed to trap the Darksoul in this small ball." I look at the ball to see those blood red eyes staring at me, "So I guess as long as the Darksoul is kept inside this ball, I'm safe..."

I hear Niki sigh, "Hhm... I wonder how we can deal with him though... this is not a permanent solution... When I was almost dead... I saw Siraki and you brother, Kamali... they said something about the bond between us... but I am not sure about how to work that..."

I look at him to see him pad away to check up on Spectrue, but then he comes back and sits by me, I look at Koda with the girls and I go back into looking at the ball, where the Darksoul is held inside...

"How's it going?"

I turn to see Kirchy sitting besides me, "OK, I guess..." I look at the ball, then back at Kirchy, "Kirchy...when you saw that dark cub attacking me, Niki and Kenai, and you saw the cub lookins just like me...what did you thought?"

I look at Kirchy and await her response, but then I see Kia snuggling besides me and falls asleep. I look at Koda accross the room, grinning at me, probably mocking me of how these girls have taken a liking to me.

[Kirchy]

"OK, I guess..." Ken'ichi replies. He looks at the ball then back at me. "Kirchy...when you saw that dark cub attacking me, Niki and Kenai, and you saw the cub lookins just like me...what did you thought?" He asks.

I glanced at Kia. She had snuggled up to Ken;ichi and fallen asleep. I think about Ken'ichi's question.

"Well, I figured it must have been another side of you or something. I thought you were in danger." I look at the ground then back at Ken'ichi. "I was worried."

[Spectrum]

Feeling paws around my feet and arms, I felt myself being dragged upon something...It must of been Niki, for I felt his warm soft fur...

Boy....he IS warm... I thought to myself... I heard Ken'ichi growl at something...But I couldn't bother myself to know what...All I knew was that I was glad Niki was alive, Ken'ichi was fine, and that the dark soul was encased in the prism sphere... I suddenly after a little while was laid down on the ground. I decided...maybe...just maybe...I could get a good sleep...The light from my eyes disappeared, and I finally was purged into dreams...

[Ken'ichi]

(Ken'ichi)-(1st person)
"Well, I figured it must have been another side of you or something. I thought you were in danger." I see Kirchy looking at the ground, then back at me, "I was worried."

I scratch my maine as I hold the ball in my other paw, Kirchy might be catching up with what's happening, but I still doubt she understands. Heck, even I don't quite understand about all of this. I look at Koda to see him fast asleep with Kenai lying next to him, Koda must be worn out from playing all day, I look at Kia to see her asleep next to me. Spectrue obviously fell asleep because he just used up a lot of his energy to grab the Darksoul. I hear Kirchy yawn, I look to see her with sleepy eyes.

"Maybe you should try to sleep, you must be exhausted from playing and running around all day."

Kirchy nods and lies down to sleep. I look at my left paw, which it was burned by my Darksoul. If it wasn't for Spectrue, I would still be in pain from the burn. I would also have a hard time walking since my left paw AND my right leg was burned, I would've been using Niki's back as transportation for a long time.

I rest my back on the cave's wall as Kia and Kirchy are fast asleep around me, I know they like me but do they like me more than a friend? I mean, they could sleep next to Koda but they prefer me...

I look at Niki to see him looking at me with a smile and a weird look with his eyes.

I raise an eyebrow, "What?"

Niki chuckles, "Seems like they have taken a special liking to you."

I flinch and almost drop the ball that holds the Darksoul, "What? They're just my friends, they're just tired and happened to fall asleep next to me."

I see Niki grin, "True, but Kia went to you and immediatly fell asleep right next to you. As for Kirchy, she came to talk to you."

I growl playfuly at my big brother, "Are you jealous?"

Niki answers my question by grabbing a small amount of mud and throws it at me, hitting my face. I laugh and wipe my eyes from the mud, but only to see Niki lying down, pretending to be sleeping. I shrug and don't return fire, Niki must also be exhausted from what happened.

I placed the ball on my belly and rest my arms on my body around the ball so it won't roll off. I close my eyes, I too am tired from all of this. I breath slowly and gentle as to not heave my belly up and down forcefuly as to not make the ball roll around. I keep my eyes close for a few minutes and leave my dreams take care of the rest...

[Talist]

I climb up to a ledge outside the cave, wrinkling my nose at the acrid smell of smoke in the air. At least the fire had not spread too badly, and I am glad that Ken'ichi was able to have his problem contained, for now, but for some reason, I cannot bring myself to follow the bears into shelter. Instead, I stretch across the stones. My friends were exhausted, and who could blame them, after what they had dealt with, but the event seemed to remind me that I had yet to earn my place here. The bears naturally turned to each other for help. As for me, what could I have done? There seemed no reason that they’d look for assistance in other quarters. Wide awake, I look out over the darkened lands, following the paler course of the river—like a sinuous shaft of moonlight, taking the place of that which was hidden behind heavy clouds—down until it vanishes into the distance.

[Kadzait]

OOC: whoo!!! Talk about an eventful roleplay! I'm back, guys! Wassup? I'll be joining you momentarily! Camp was fun! And I am glad to be back!

BIC: I walk slowly back, my mind a blur. The rain had stopped, but the dark clouds still remained. As I neared the salmon run, I notice smoke fairly nearby. My ears perk. I don’t want anything else to go wrong! I was too tired to react quickly, so I just hoped that the fire hadn’t harmed any of my friends. I limped a bit, my paw having been bitten earlier, but nothing as serious as what had happened the other day with my former pack. Wroc, perched on my shoulder, cawed out as he pecked at his ruffled feathers, telling me of the fire ahead. I nodded slowly, to dazed to care anymore. I felt a drop of water hit my ear, then another, and a rush of calm hit my being. The rains had returned again, and would most definitely put out the fire. I came closer to the river, and my eyes began to search for my friends. Sloshing in the mud with each step, my weary form trudged along through the rain. I saw Talist and Sila come into view, and a smile comes to my face. It was good to see some familiar and friendly faces, not like the ones I had seen earlier. What had just happened to me had tied the knot in my exile from my former pack, so I had no chance of returning whatsoever. I hoped Talist had though about the pack idea, because it would be really nice to have a pack again. I walked slowly up toward them, the rain still beating down.

“Hi guys.” I say with a smile.

[Nikiski]

"Well, I figured it must have been another side of you or something. I thought you were in danger." Kirchy tells Ken'ichi "I was worried."

Kia falls asleep beside Ken'ichi, when Kenai and Koda cuddle up and sleep a little deeper in the cave. I take my usual position near the entrance... just to guard the cave.

"Maybe you should try to sleep, you must be exhausted from playing and running around all day." Ken'ichi suggests Kirchy. Kirchy nods and lies down to sleep. I look at Ken'ichi with a smile and a weird look.

Ken'ichi asks, "What?"

I chuckle, "Seems like they have taken a special liking to you."

"What? They're just my friends, they're just tired and happened to fall asleep next to me."

I grin, "True, but Kia went to you and immediatly fell asleep right next to you. As for Kirchy, she came to talk to you."

Ken'ichi growls playfuly at me, "Are you jealous?"

I grab a small amount of mud and throw it at Ken'ichi. He laughs and I lie down, pretending to be sleeping. Ken'ichi doesn't come at me and he goes off to sleep with that ball on his belly. I close my eyes and get myself to sleep.

[Nikiski]

I wake up, hhm... I must have been sleeping for long... since the sun rises and it looks like another day to me. I look at Spectrue, he looks like he is awake, just that he is not getting up yet...

"Hey Spec, good morning."

I walk outside of the cave, looking at the beautiful sunrise...

Spectrue comes outside with the energy ball in his paws... I'm just wondering... what can we do with this... darksoul? Isn't there a way... hm... to deal with it? Like... I don't know... my be purify it like how I purified Ken'ichi in his dream?

[Kirchy]

Ken'ichi scratches his mane while holding the ball in his other paw. I wonder what he's thinking about. Koda was fast asleep next to Keani. Ki was asleep next to Ken'ichi. Watching them sleep makes me tired. I yawn.

"Maybe you should try to sleep, you must be exhausted from playing and running around all day." Ken'ichi suggests.

I nod and lay down to sleep. I begin to dream.

Kirchy's Dream (3rd Person)

Kirchy was playing happily with her sister. Her parents chuckled as they watch them play. Kirchy ran up to her sister and tagged her. "You're it, Sash!" she gigled playfully.

Thunder boomed. Sash gasped and hid behind Kirchy. Kirchy laughed at her sister. "It's ok. It's just thunder. Nothing to worry about." Lightning hit a near by tree. Kirchy gulped. "Now that is something to worry about."

It started to rain. A tornado was coming towards the bears. "Run into the cave!" Kirchy's father instructed. But the cave ws too far away and the tornado was coming closer. Kirchy's mother thought quickly and threw Kirchy and Sash into the river below.

Kirchy made it to dry land. She watched as Sash was carried down stream and fell off a waterfall. She looked back to where here parents were. The tornada hit them. They obviously were dead.

Kirchy looked up in the sky and yelled, "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

End of Dream (1st Person)

I wake up sweating. I had drempt about my family dying. Funny, I thought I had stopped having nightmares about that long ago. Now they were back. I strech and walk outside the cave. It is still dark out but the sun will soon rise. I sit down and sigh. I hear someone come up from behind me. I figure it is one of my friends.

[Kia]

I see Kirchy leave and I go out and say."Kirchy stay away from Ken'ichi he is mine! So stop trying to get his ofection!" I scream as I go into the cave.

[Kirchy]

I hear Kia's voice. ."Kirchy stay away from Ken'ichi he is mine! So stop trying to get his effection!" she screams before running back into the cave.

I roll my eyes. Did Ken'ichi have a name tag saying he was Kia's? I don't think so! Besides, it's not up to her on who I like. It also isn't up to her if Ken'ichi likes her. It is up to Ken'ichi to decide, not Kia.

I shake my head. I could be friends with anyone I want. Kia can't say who Ilike. I hear someone else come up from behind me. I turn to face him.
