Kanoa went to the nearby river and managed to catch 3 salmons. He gave 1 to Shesh and 1 to Kadzait
He turned to Kadzait
"I hope wolfs like salmon. I could get you some berries at the bushes nearby if you hate it"

OOC- Hey guys, sorry for my abcents..Been very busy.
BIC- Paniced, Kelila looks to Koda as he runs up after her. Not wanting to worry the little cub as he asks if shes ok, she smiles.
"Koda, hi. I'm fine, I just wanted to erm...."
Kelila quickly looks around to find something to take Koda's attention away from her.
"Hey, look Koda, a salmon. It looks like its a big juciey one. I bet you can't catch it."
Pleased that Koda seems intrested in the 'salmon,' she starts to back away from the river side. As her rear right paws touches the ground, she bumps into Kenai.
"Kenai!"
She says in surprise
"What are you doing here? I'm fine. Theres nothing wrong. Nothing. nothing..."
She says as she sighlenty sits down as a single tear escapes from her big green eye. With a worried and sad expression on her face, she looks up into Kenai's eyes.[/b]
"Have the spirits ever taken someone you love? Someone, well, someone how you just feel like you cant be without sometimes?"
Kelila sits there as she stares into Kenai's eyes. Her expression sadens as she glances over to a larg bolder on the river's edge.

Stumbling slightly on his paws, he shifts uncomfortably at Kelila, watching her eyes as she speaks, keeping quiet the entire time. Finally, he moves a little closer to her, with hesitation of answering her question.
"Yeah...
The spirits.... I wouldn't say that they took him away... what happened was my fault. My brother is with the spirits. He became one of the spirits. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here right now. He .. he changed my life quite a bit."
He raises his paw to gently wipe away Kelila's tear with the back fur of his finger, offering her a reassuring smile.
"I know it's hard sometimes, living without them. But remember that they're always there, keeping an eye out for us and watching over us as we follow our path. Hey, want to go for a walk perhaps? We could get some fresh air, if your hungry.. I can try to catch you a salmon. Heh heh, although we might have to bring Koda along. I hate to admit it, but I'm not the best at fishing."

As Koda nears Kelila to make sure she is fine. Kelila stutters, then says she bet Koda can't catch a large salmon. Koda thinks that if he catches the fish, it might make Kelila feel better. With a grin, Koda runs and leaps into the water. Swimming around, the cub excitedtly pursues the large red salmon, and in no time at all he snaps it up in his jaws, surfacing in the water. Koda dog paddles to the side of the river and notices Kenai is now with Kelila, and Kenai mentions something about bringing him along to fish. Koda proudly hops out of the water with the large fish dangling out of his mouth as he walks up to Kenai and Kelila. Kenai says how he's not the best at fishing. Koda drops the fish at the two bears feet.
"You can say that again!"
He chuckles.

Kadzait accepts the fish with a grin.
"No worries, I like fish! Thanks!"
The wolf then begins to gnaw at the salmon, ripping out it's bones with one swipe of his muzzle. After gulping down the meat (including the eyes), Kadzait lays himself down and begins to gnaw on the bones, which seems to soothe him. Kadzait's stomach grumbles, and he decides one fish isn't enough to fill this wolf. Leaving the bones, Kadzait wanders over to the river, waiting for an unsuspecting fish to swim by. As he waited, Kadzait thought about how nice it was to have been accepted, even if it wasn't by other wolves, yet thought how nice it would be to be with other wolves again. As he stared at his reflection, a large red salmon floated near the surface, and Kadzait snatched the fish up in his jaws with only a slight splash. He then walked back to where he was sitting before, the fish still wriggling in his mouth.

Padding at a steady pace, following the river's course, ears pricked for any sound of approach, a solitary creature travels through the night. The spirit lights sway in the sky above her, but she pays them no heed at present–her thoughts are unsettling, and she is no fool to be caught off-guard in strange country. She smiles grimly. An encounter seems almost inviting. It would stave off the vast silence which had come to encroach her spirit, had come to be more unbearable than the anger still smouldering there. And then the silence is broken, a mournful howl rises in the distance. Her stride falters. In a moment though, her direction changes, and her pace quickens.
~ As the hours pass into deeper night, the aurora fades, its breathtaking light slowly replaced by the prick of stars. Clouds scud across the sky in a fitful wind, and the moon is at times obscured as the clouds cover its face. A night for restlessness, for wariness. Whether it is a scent, or a muffled sound that attracts attention, one might suddenly become aware of a lean shape surging among the trees on the ridge above the river. The moon emerges again--its light is reflected in a pair of pale golden eyes.

Kanoa turned to Shesh with a smile on his face
"No problem! I could get you another salmon if your still hungry"
He then, look at Kadzait
"Nice catch, Kadzait! Uhh..I think you should stop that salmon from wriggling."
In Kanoa's mind, he hope that Kelila's alright

OOC: Welcome, Talist! ;D
BIC: Kadzait plops himself down by his fish bones, and heeding to Kanoa's plea, he immobilizes the fish with a single strong bite. The fish becomes limp in Kadzait's jaws, and Kadzait repeats his fish-eating process. Suddenly, Kadzait stops chewing, and his ears prick, swiveling around to find the sound he had just heard. He rises to his paws, slowly and cautiously. As the Northen Lights shimmer away from the sky, Kadzait begins to creep toward the edge of the forest, his movements rigid, yet silent. Amidst the trees, Kadzait senses someone moving among them, and he can see the moon glinting off a pair of goldish eyes. Startled at the presence of this new figure, Kadzait squints his eyes, trying to make out who is lurking in the forest.

(OOC: Well met, Kadzait! Thanks for the welcome! BIC)
In no time the stranger gains level ground at the foot of the ridge, her form still difficult to distinguish from the shadows. Certain signs show that whatever the animal is, it is aware of Kadzait's presence in the forest, and approaches with some caution. There is a moment of tense stillness. Chance shafts of light appear, casting a strange contrast about the clearing. "I cannot decide whether you are very sure of yourself, or very foolish," says a slightly husky voice somewhere to Kadzait's right. Keeping her eyes fixed on him, Talist pads forward, deliberately stepping into the light. The speaker is a wolf, somewhat smaller than Kadzait, but quiet self-possession in every line of her. She smiles cooly.

Kadzait stands calmly as the creature speaks off to his right, and slowly turns his head toward the voice. A smirk appears on his face at her comment, and as she comes into the light, Kadzait sees that it is a wolf, slightly smaller than himself. As she stands there in the light, Kadzait grins and speaks up.
“I’ll go with very sure of myself, though I have been known to be foolish at times.”
Kadzait bows his head in a humble welcome to the fellow wolf
“The name’s Kadzait. It’s been quite a while since another wolf has dared approach me.”
Kadzait straightens back up, a smirk still on his face

Kelila smiles at her two good friends. Pleased that she has made two very good friends, and one of whom she is very much attracted to. Kelila stands up, and entertains Kenai's idea of fishing."heh common then boys, lets get some fish for everyone." Jumping over little Koda's head Kelila lands into the river with an enormus splash. When she pops her head out of the water she thrusts two fish onto the grass beside Kenai's paws."Well? You two comin' then? Or are you going to leave all this fishing up to me?" She then bounds off back into her quiet underwater world. As she watches Koda jump in as millions of tiny bubbles surround his body.
