~~ooc~~ Oh good. The moose brothers are finally together. This will be Aleshanee's first in character post, so "bear" with me (no pun intended Kenai ). ~~bic~~ ~~The young cow moose's ears perk as she hears the loud but distant arguing going on between what sounds like two males. The clattering of colliding antlers tells her that these males are either her own kind or some sort of relative. A pair of deer bucks or elks, perhaps. Her curiosity aroused, she trots off through the woods, following the voices. Looking down a hill after reaching the top, she spots Tuke and Rutt, antlers intertwined, having a shouting/butting contest. Seeing this as comedic entertainment, she stands off to one side and quietly observes, having no intentions of giving away her presence, but an involuntary giggle at the two bulls' antics reveals they are being watched.~~

Tuke chuckles at Rutt--until he gets kicked. He jumps back, dragging Rutt with him in the process then, after recovering, he kicks his brother in the same place.
"You're such a baby," he grunts in reply, "You whine about everything, eh. I didn't throw you that hard. Now you kickin' me, eh--that's gonna leave a bruise! Bet you'll feel real bad ,eh, if I go lame 'cause of that lil' stunt, eh?"

OOC- Oh, this is gonna be good. ;D
BIC- Rutt yelps pathetically in his high-pitched voice and rubs his foreleg with the other front hoof gingerly, muttering peevishly under his breath.
"Well, I don't care how hard you threw me over," he whimpers, "It still hurt, eh! Yeah, I'd feel bad if you got lamer than you already are, but wouldn't you feel bad if you fractured me ribs or injured my spine or cracked my--"
He stops and his ears swivel forward as he hears someone giggling. He looks around without turning his head, since it's still locked against Tukes, and it isn't long before he notices the female moose standing on top of the hill.
"Hey, how's it goin', eh?" he calls after a moment of stunned silence, smiling bashfully, "I, uh...I don't remember ever seeing you in the forest before. You new around here or somethin', eh?"

OOC~ It seems that Kenai has had quite the nap.... BIC~ Its seems that accross the stream where Kenai lays asleep, Tug and his 'bear family' gather. There seem to be a new bear in the forest. Or is there? Tug embraces this new bear in a big bear hug, and asks her how her journey was...She sits down and begins to tell her tail as her friends and family gather around her.Well it had to have been the fifth or sixth most coldest day on my entire journey. I had made up to the great snow banks, after following my 'path' for many days. Tired and cold I dug a huge hole to keep warm in, then as if out of no where a giant White Bear was right in front of me...She was so big, even bigger than you daddy. She looks towards Tug as if to make sure he's listening. When she sees intrest in his expression she returns to her story. The giant white bear told me to follow her, so I did. She took me down a mountain, and we seemed to be heading to something like the salmon run, but there were no salmon to be seen and there was only these giant white bears there. When I got there they seemed to want to eat me.... Kelila's story takes on to the side as she notices a new bear laying accross the stream. She seems very intreaged by him, but she carries on with her story keeping a very close eye on this bear.OOC~ Okay, well I suppose thats a good start..lol

Still lazying about with his head resting on his large paws, Kenai begins to hear a female voice from across the stream. He opens one of his eyes to get a glance, trying not to be too distracted from his nap. He could see Tug and several other bears gathered in a circle, and then he caught a glimpse of the bear he had never seen before. This is enough to gain his interest as he forces himself to sit upright. He stares towards the female bear, his brow furrowed with curiousity. For some odd reason, he felt the urge to join the group of bears so he could get a closer look at her and see who she was. But he was hesitant, not to mention he was unbelievably lazy. He slowly layed back down, yet this time he kept his head held up to watch for awhile longer, then slowly lowered it onto his forepaws. He pretended to go back to sleep, yet every now and then he would glance towards the other bear with curiousity.

As Kelila's story drew to its end she promptly looked over her father's husky sholder to get a better look at the bear while he was sitting up. Taken a back when he looked her way she sheepishly turned away and took in the all the 'oos' and 'awes' from her family. Very much interested in who this bear was she took Tug aside and asked him.
So, his name's Kenai and hes Koda's big brother? Shes watching him as she quietly says this I never knew Koda had a big brother...
After learning of how Kenai came to be apart of her over extended family, Tug insisted that Kelila goes over and introduces herself to him. Being very shy around studly bears, Kelila is very unsure of her self but she walks quietly over towards Kenai.

When he opened his eyes and saw Kelila moving towards him, he became startled. He sat up again, then bracing himself on all fours he crossed the stream, getting his paws soaked along the way, yet the water felt good on a day like this. He stopped just a few feet away from the girl and tried to smile his most charming smile, although it made him look like a big dufus.
"Hello. I.. I saw you from across the stream, and I was just thinking.. that I haven't seen you before? I'm mean I'm sorry if I don't remember your name, but I'm sure I haven't seen you around before.. I would have surely remembered you.."
He looks her in the eye, and he can't help but be attracted to her overall cuteness. He sits down, his eyes still upon her
"Oh! Oh, I'm sorry.. I'm Kenai. I'm not from around here either..."

Shy and blushing very slightly Kelila sits down with Kenai trying very hard not to make eye contact."Well I'm not new here at all, but I know you havent seen me before." She sighs deeply with neverious-ness in her voice. I was -um- What I mean to say is, well I was on some what of a vacation." Kelila looks down at Kenai's wet paws then up into his eyes "I noticed you too... I'm Kelila, Tug's daughter. He tells me that you're little Koda's big brother? How come I've never seen you at the salmon run before?"

"Yes, I'm Koda's big brother.."
He chuckles, feeling his blood rushing to his head as he nervously smiles.
"Well, the reason you haven't seen me at the salmon run.. it's a long story."
All of a sudden, he couldn't remember anything. Despite his mind going blank, he didn't panic and continued in an attempt to keep her attention
"Kelila, is it? That is a beautiful name.. er.. I hope you don't mind me saying so."

She sighs in frustration..
"ugh, I despise my name."
OOC~ Now shes going to get dramatic...lol...
BIC~ Kelila explains without taking a breath...
"My mother died at the paws of a wolf, when I was a very young cub with no name. So my dad got the job of not only rasing me, but he also got to name me...So what does he but but look around the forest and he sees a flower and he names me after the flower. Kelila.
She bats her long eye lashes to Kenai as she says her names.
"I like you're name, Kenai. It's unique, and you're not named after some flower that some moose can trample along and eat."
Realising, that shes probably just scared Kenai away Kelila is quick to apologise for her long story
"I'm sorry, I really just don't like my name."
She looks down at her paws, waiting and hoping that Kenai'll stay, but she fears that he thinks shes crazy now.

"Oh, thats awful... but atleast you still have Tug. My mother and father died when I was young too."
Kenai frowned, remembering that not only did he lose his mother and father, but his brother Sitka. So many losses.. but he shakes the empty feeling and turns to her
"I think Kelila is a beautiful name. You are as beautiful as a flower, even more beautiful."
Kenai often doesn't think before he speaks, and this is one of those awkward times. His eyes widen and he backs away a little, only to stumble on his hind paw and fall back on his rear.
"I.. heh.. sorry.. I just.. you know... flowers are nice.."
Kenai chuckles and bites his tongue so he'll shut himself up and not dig himself any deeper a grave. He hopes she doesn't claw him for that one.

Kelia, looks down and smiles. She then gets up and stands over Kenai (in a flirty way) as he lays on the ground. And she wispers into his ear."Flowers are beautiful." She then helps Kenai back onto his feet, and giggles."You sure are a bit clumsy...I mean, I don't want to be mean or anything, but you keep tripping over you're own four paws. Its awefully cute. "

Kenai grins, feeling a bit embarrassed and nervous at the same time.
"Heh heh, yeah.. clumsy.. that's me. Koda could tell you more about that, I'm sure."
Kenai accepts Kelila's help as he stands up.
"So.. umm.."
He rubs the back of his head with his paw, wondering what to say..
"So what do you like to do? You know.. like, erm.. hobbies? It's a nice day, maybe we could go for a walk, eh?"
He catches himself talking like the moose, again he bites his tongue. After hanging around Rutt and Tuke for so long, the whole 'eh" thing was becoming second nature in his vocabulary. But he was more interested in his new friend at the moment to worry about the bad speech habits he had picked up

"Hobbies, well....hmmm"
Kelila looks accross the stream and sees some bears fishing, she then looks back at Kenai.
"Well I like fish, berries, climbing trees and swimming. But what I love the most is my family and friends."
At this she look into Kenai's eyes, they seem to shimmer.
"But you know what the most beauitful thing within the wole world is? The lights, you know the ones that touch the earth. Every night I love to lay down along side the stream, listen to the trickling water float by and watch the lights. You know it's weird, but sometimes I can feel my mother looking down on me. heh. Strange huh?"
She looks over to Kenai, not wanting to wait for his reply she carries on...
"So, what does the great mysterious Kenai like to do? I mean, you know so much about me now, yet I know nothing of you. 'Cept that you're really cute."

"Oh, I know all about the lights!"
Kenai laughs, although there is nothing funny about the lights to someone who doesn't know what Kenai has been through. He coughs, stiffling his soft chuckling and becoming a little more serious
"Oh, there isn't really much to tell."
And he isn't about to scare her off with the whole fact that he used to be human.
"I take care of Koda, me and him are buddies. Although the little booger sure knows how to jabber enough.."
