Life with Koda

[Spectrum]

Seeing as everyone having fun, and learning Kanoa's name, I pondered about the party again...

"So, when does the party start?" I asked to noone in particular.

[Nikiski]

Answering Spec's question...

"When, before the sun sets..."

I look at the sun, thinking that the storytelling must be starting soon...

"All right, let's go. I think the party's starting soon!"

[Koda]

The wrestle finally ends, with Ken'ichi being pinned, Kadzait sliding into the water, and me laughing my head off. Nikiski comes over and wipes the mud off of Ken'ichi, as me and Kadzait shake the mud off our fur, splattering Niki with it! I jump in the water to wash the rest off, and hop on a nearby rock. Suddenly, Nikiski pops up and tickles me, and I fall in the water laughing!

"I give I give!" I cry between laughs, "Uncle! uncle!" Nikiski stops tickling me, still chuckling, then Spectrue asks when the party starts. I look at the sky, and the sun is setting. I perk up.

"It's about to start! Let's go!" I cry out!

[Ken'ichi]

After the wrestle ends, I sit up to catch my breath, my sides pumping for oxygen. Man was I worn out, my fur covered in mud, I practically couldn't move. I look to see Nikiski pads over and starts wiping the mud off of me, while Koda and Kadzait shakes themselves clean, spraying mud all over Nikiski. After Nikiski wipes me clean, I head over to the water to have a drink, then I hear Koda laughing as Nikiski tickles him. I then hear Spectrue asking when the party is going to start, then Koda cries to us to head to the party. I raise my head to see them heading to the party, I still haven't decided on what story to say. I run to catch up with the others. Maybe I should...

[Kadzait]

I pull myself out of the water, still laughing, as Nikiski walks over. Both Koda and I shake off our fur, splashing him with mud. Koda hops into the water to wash the rest of the mud off, and I do the same. Nikiski dives in and swims past me, splashing up and tickling Koda, and I chuckle, hopping out of the water and shaking my fur off once again. Koda exclaims that the party is starting, and he takes off, getting the rest of the group to follow him. I look for Ken'ichi, and he looks unsure about whether or not to go. I pad over to him.

"You comin?" I ask. "Seems promising, and sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. Waddaya say?" I ask the little cub.

[Ken'ichi]

As I catched up with the others and see the other bears sitting together getting ready, I stop to think for a moment. I don't know wether I should or shouldn't tell my story, the one that happened a few years ago, I know I should tell them eventually, I don't know if this is the appropiate time. I kept thinking until Kadzait padded over to me and asks me if I'm coming, I shook of my thoughts and look at him.

"Hm? Oh...yea, I'm coming."

I walk with Kadzait to the scene. I still don't know if I should tell my story about...that. I wonder why hasn't anybody asked me about it, especially Koda since he's a curious little cub. I'll tell them eventually, in the meantime, I should just think of another story for the party.

[Spectrum]

Hearing Koda exclaim that the party is about to start, I went ahead and caught a fish real quick, ate it, and said
"Alright, cool, let's go then."
As I was going to run with them, Ken'ichi was still stiff bodied and thoughtful. I wondered if he was going to tell us more of his scar...I couldn't remember anyone asking of it, but I'm curious. Feeling for my prism to make sure it's still in my maine, I sighed. I wondered if it'd be a wise choice to tell EVERYONE about the...the dreams...Maybe it'd be best if I were to....no, no, that's not it...I couldn't possiblely just tell what has happened to me just recently...It would be just completely nuts and everyone would think I'd gone off the deep end... I definately wasn't going to tell them that...With a deep sigh, I ran to catch up with the others, thinking in my mind and my heart, it was that story...That dreadful morning, that umbragreous black of the mind...and of another's heart... I thought maybe I'll just tell it as a dream, something I keep having over and over, and just recently this year I'd experianced it fully...and understandingly. If I were to tell them about it...The first time I had it...The very last bit of memory I had...It would cleanse my spirit and lift a little life in me... I would tell the ones who I trust later of how I had came to be here...when the time was right.

[Koda]

I make sure everyone is following, as we arrive just in time for the story telling game. I plop myself down, and wave to Tug, who is tossing a salmon around in his paws. I motion everyone to sit down, as the stories were about to begin.


OOC: Alright, everyone, let's get these stories started! I guess you could put in other characters just to make it seem like there are other bears besides us, for example, say 'so and so caught the fish and explained about bla bla bla' or something. This'll be fun!

[Nikiski]

OOC~ This is as Tug... ;D BTW I think the reason they use a salmon "tail" is it sounds the same as "tale"... Just something came to my mind.

BIC~Seeing Koda, I shout...

"Hey Koda, look at you! Now you have a story ready to tell?"

Koda gives an answer,

"Oh ya, well let's see if you catch the fish tail!"

Addressing Kenai.

"Hey Kenai, 've eaten enough fish yet?"

Addressing Nikiski.

"Nikiski! It looks like you've grown a little bigger. Great to see you."

Addressing everyone else in the group.

"Welcome, grab a spot, we're starting soon!"

Realizing there's a wolf...

"Hey, Mr. Wolf, welcome!"

Addressing all animals in the area.

"OK OK, settle down, settle down. We-- hey, no more throwing fish bone, buddy, somebody could chock on that... anyways... I'll go first... Hm..."

Scratches my head.

"Uum... The most interesting thing that happened to me this year... Oh! I got one, listen to this. I'd say I've managed to push that boulder that was blocking the path to my cave away. The boulder rolled and hit an otter's home! Now I've got an otter living with me."

Chuckles, looks at the otter with some kinda expression...

"Well, Ahem, alright, who's going to be next to tell the fish tale. Show me some paws in the air. Ha, gocha!"

Throws the fish tail.

[Nikiski]

BIC~

Seeing Tug welcoming me and other bears and a wolf, I smile and grab a spot next to the river. Spec is sitting next to me, then Truttle , Kenai, the two cubs and Kadzait. The party is starting!

Tug shares his story and all of us laugh. Then he throws the fish to another bear...

OOC2~ I guess someone can tell a story eh?

[Ken'ichi]

OOC: Ok, guess I'll make a story then. Long post by the way.

BIC: We reach the party and everyone sits down, I sat down between Koda and Kadzait.The big bear, Tug, shares his story first, and it made me laugh. I'm still thinking of which story to tell, I have so much hidden from my friends, all of them I would like to keep to myself, but there is one I'm thinking wether I should tell them or not...That's it! I think I know which story to tell. I see Tug throwing the fish tail to the others and my eyes follow it, a bear next to a few cubs and another bear catches it.

I listen closely as the bear starts his story. "This year me and my girly got the most precious gift we could ever have." I see the bear look dreamly at his girl, "Me and my wonderful girl have cubs now." He said as he looked down at his cubs who are playing. I then hear everyone go awww and congratulations.

I keep looking around excitedly as the bear throws the fish tail.

OOC2: Remember those two bears that were in love in the movie? You guessed it, those two bears that got cubs now are them. Anyway, who's next?

[Nikiski]

OOC~ Anywho, I'll post something... As Bear Cub #1

BIC~

"This is me and my friend went to that forest that nobody has even been to. We saw a wolf, he looked at us with hungry eyes. Me and my friend went into a cave and met a big bear, the big bear came out and scared the wolf away, haha!"

Throws the fish tail.

BiC: As I walked with the others, I saw the very bear I saw earlier. He greeted me and said "Glad you came!" I felt pretty much welcomed by them. I sat next to Niki, along with the others following near us. The big bear, whom I had heard addressed as Tug several times, told us a story of how he had now an otter living with him as a result of poor home improvement. I laughed out loud, and then he tossed the fish tail back and forth. Strange, is this how they do this kind of thing? Pass it back to somebody, whoever catches it, gets to tell? Weird...Anyway, I got the most part of the game and listened to others' stories. I wasn't about to ready myself for a toss, I wasn't quite ready to tell anything yet...
Suddenly, a black hole consumed my mind and I began getting thoughts of my past. A heart beat thumped through many scenes... Parents, laying dead on the floor....Baby Sister suffocated...Best Friend hung in a tree...Horrible...A glint of a silver cut eye...Those eyes....Those very, deep, and ugly eyes...They almost made me die...They had no right to be within my mind..I couldn't understand it...Rage infuriated within me in my dream, as I charged for the persecutor...That very being still walks the earth to day...Hunting and killing and taking the lives of others... That whole dream was filled with the nightmares of ones who I'd known and some I'd loved, dead, at the hands of this wicked being...Gradually, my mind came back to reality, as a white piercing of light entered my thoughts, when I seen a red flesh, embedded in my eyes.

"Ow, hey, what the?!"

When I hung out my hands to take the scaley thing out of my face, in my hands plopped the very fish tail of the game. I heard laughter, chuckles. I'd not been paying attention while I was embedded in my thoughts. I looked at the huge bear, laughing... He notioned me and asked me "Well? What's your story, stranger?"

"...I..." Looking at the dozens of faces around me, I felt an arising fever of heat, striking my skull...I couldn't think...Finally, an idea popped in my mind...A happy time...A good time...FINALLY, something good...

"Ok, I got one... It was a cold winter day...I walked out of my home, feeling the chill of an autum day, but instead of fall, I felt myself FALL into a white fluff...It was icy cold, and with a yelp, I leaped back to solid surface. I stepped in it again, feeling the cold thing called snow...It was the first time I'd ever seen it.. My first time seeing snow. I'd thought for a second, and then I heard a few rustles in the bushes... Stepping out further into the white forest ground, I came ever closer to the thorned bushels...I saw berries and upon those berries, I saw eyes...Wait, eyes,? I thought? That can't be right...They blinked, and when I turned around, I felt myself overturned on my body and felt a pelt of bodily fur upon my torso. What I saw before was none other than a canine of some sort. I scooted back into the snow piles before me, and tried getting up. 'HI!' the stranger yeaped at me. I stood still, still frozen under the cruel snow's temperature. 'Hey, what are you so afraid of? Haven't you seen snow before?' The stranger asked me. I told the dog no, and she laughed and yepped up and down, hyper and emotional. She wagged her tail and licked me on the face. My eyes widened, as her warm toung melted the icey substance around my skull. 'Thanks...My name's Spectrue' I told her. She hopped up and down and told me her name was Diamond. 'Come on! I'll show you what you can do around here when it's snowed!' She told me, after I had said I'd never saw snow before then. Throughout the day, we had many things going, games I'd never played, lots of fun." Somebody interrupted and asked why wasn't I hibernating. "I don't hibernate, sorry, I'm....a different species, a much MUCH different species of bear... Anyways, continuing on, Diamond led me to an ice lake, and she almost froze herself in the cold cold water of the ice, trying to be funny and careless. Luckily, I was able to thaw her by taking her to my home and warming her with my body. She was so scared, and then we became best friends for a while. I don't know where she is now, but if any of you have seen a white and brownish Syberian Husky around these parts, then you've probably only seen the one and only Diamond..."

My eyes drifted off into my own thoughts, thinking of the fun we had. Soon, my thoughts were cut off like a broken record, when somebody asked,

"YOU LOVE A HUSKY?!"

Everyone cracked up and started laughing. I tried calming everyone down and telling them we were best friends, not love mates, as odd as the species paring they were thinkin in they're minds. But it was no use, and I just joined in laughing...It was funny, but I still thought of how she was my only real close friend...

I tossed the fish tail in a windy like fashion, letting it fall toward Koda. I was sure he had something to tell...

[Nikiski]

I hear Spec tell his story. It is kind of interesting, reminding me of my brother. Aah... my thought is interrupted as someone raise a question: "YOU LOVE A HUSKY?"

I hope Spec takes it as a joke, I join the laughing. Spec throws the fish tail and it lands in Koda's hand. We're in for a great story! (and long, smile!)

"Let's hear what you've got, Koda!"

[Kanoa]

Kanoa noticed a group of bears having a good time and decided to join them. He sat down and wanted to hear the stories.

~OOC~Can't think right now, my brain is still not funtioning because its early morning...need...coffee...
