Life with Koda

[Kadzait]

I listen attentively to Nikiski, Ken'ichi and Truttle's stories. Wow, these guys had been through a lot! Nikiski's story about how he saved the cubs from the iceburg reminded me of something I had done.....but I pushed it out of my mind. For that very reason I had been banned from my pack. As Ken'ichi talks about the hunters, I was reminded of a similar story, when I was a part of the pack, and hunters had come. I nudge my little friend.

"Wow, that must've been something, taking on a hunter!" I say with awe at the cub.

Then Truttle tells his story of the fire and the caribou, and I shake my head in disbelief, that must've been horrible! I remember when I was young, and had first seen fire, and was mesmerized by it's beauty. But it was dangerous, as Truttle had well explained. I was trying to decide what I should tell, as the fish tail flew through the air again, over near Tug.

[Nikiski]

Listening to Ken'ichi's and Truttle's story, I find that they have been through a lot, especially for Ken'ichi. He tells the story of when we were chased by humans.

I smile at Ken'ichi.

"That's all right Ken'ichi, just don't do it again eh."

And Truttle, who talks about a stempede and fire...

"Wow!"

I stare at nothing, lost in my deep thoughts.

[Ken'ichi]

Everyone seemed to like my story. I saw Spectrue nodding, then felt Kadzait nudging me, commenting about my story. I smiled at Kadzait.

"It was pretty something, I've never been that scared in all my life." Not true...

I look at Nikiski. "I'm sorry about running off like that, I had a lot on my mind back there."

Nikiski smiles at me and tells me it's alright, just not to do it again. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't worry, I won't."

I hear Truttle's story and I was amazed at what he just told us. Chased by a caribou, wakeing up in the middle of a fire. I was amazed, glad he made it out of that.

"Wow..." I said under my breath.

[Denahi]

Holy... 24 Pages! Wow!

We'll i've got some really good news.

1. The party was a sucess.
2. I got approached by some guy who wanted to purchase my mixes. (But I told him no. There was money involved - but I don't sell my stuff.)

And finally. You guys are doing so well here that i'm going to turn this over to you guys! So who ever took over for me your permenant!

I still can't believe that we got more pages and we're one of the youngest RP's here! We beat the oldest by 2X the pages!

OOC: Hey Denahi! Glad to hear the party was a success. Yep, this roleplay is going pretty sweet! Koda has been doing the role of Kenai AND Koda. You can come back if you want, either way it's cool.

[Nikiski]

OOC~ Nice!

I watch as the fish tail is once again in the air. It lands near Tug. Tug looks at Kenai.

"Hey, why don't you tell us YOUR story, Kenai."

Kenai rolls his eyes, looks as if he is deciding that if he should tell a story.

[Kanoa]

~OOC~ Oh Sweet!!!

[Spectrum]

OOC: Ok, that's it, you guys have steamed my brocolli! or...head...or...soemthin, NEVERMIND!

*ASZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ KENAI!!!!!!!!*

BiC: I roll my eyes, thinkin that everyone expects me to tell a story now. I thought for a moment...It wasn't too long ago that I'd just saved Koda from a hunter...Than there was the time when Koda hurt his foot and he had been seriously whinning for he couldn't do anything for a week...Ah, i know..There was the time when I...

"Alright, let me get this over with..." I grab the tail and sigh. "So, you wanna hear what's so exciting about this year?" Everyone says yes. "Are you sure?" YES!!! they all say. "Ok, ok...Here goes...

It was a dark and stormy night, the clouds blending their black forms into the no darker sky, making it look as though the whole earth was inshrouded within shadow. I had been awoken by the thunderous storms, from inside our cave. Koda had been sound asleep. I couldn't believe he slept through that dark nightmare. Heaving myself from my sleeping spot, I look at the storm, beggining to stop splattering water all over the ground. The rain may have stopped, but the whole sky was still thundering with loud booms, the sky filled with black clouds. Walking out slowly to make sure noone was around, I sniffed and smelled the scent of a human. I was startled, but I found myself peering across the rock. It was very strange. I had taken one look at the bush and I saw a few ears, prodded against a rock from below the mountain. Catiously, I walked over, making no sound. The ears stayed still, motionless. Against the rock, I saw a strange face I'd not seen. I could not see the body, his legs and torso embedded within the hard bush. But he had been laying there, eyes wide open. It looked like some sort of...fox...or something...I couldn't tell it was so dark. As I assumed the creature was dead and therefore there was nothin I could do, I heard a slight whisper before I turned around. Then suddenly, a huge bolt of lightning struck from the sky, in the position of the animal. When I looked again from the blast of light, it was gone. Vanished...Completely. I'd assumed I'd been dreaming in the morning when I woke up with Koda. Though, it seemed pretty real..." I heard whispers and gasps, others saying about how close I was to the bolt. Koda asked why didn't I tell him. I told him I didn't want to worry him or anything... When i looked at Spectrue, his eyes blinked hard and turned away from me....Strange, I thought....I finished my story and readied the salmon tail in the air.

"Who's next?" I threw the tail in the air behind me for someone to catch it as I laid back down to rest.

OOC2: There, I hope you guys are happy I posted....the other kenai, he's probably in trouble for not cleanin his room and can't get online. Sorry I took the role...I want this RP to keep moving!

[Nikiski]

I listen to Kenai's story. Imagining all these action-packed scenes, I let out a few gasps.

I look at Spectrue. He looks like he has something hiding behind us... what is it?

Kenai throws the fish into the air. I watch where it lands.

[Ken'ichi]

I see the fish tail land near Tug, he grabs it and motions it to Kenai for him to tell a story. I look at Kenai, who seemed distracted, trying to think of a story. I paid attention as Kenai grabbed the tail and started telling his story...

After Kenai finished his story, I was left puzzled. According to Kenai's story, a lightning bolt fell unto something Kenai found lying on the ground. I think whatever it was, it got desintegrated by the lightning. I then hear Koda asking Kenai why he didn't told that to him, then I notice Spectrue, who was rather...disturbed. Maybe there's something more to what happened, or maybe Spectrue was in awe of the story. I figure he was just in shock of the story like Nikiski. I look back at Kenai just in time to see him throw the fish.

[Truttle]

I have to type fast. I haven't been able to post all day today because my internet connection is on the fritz. I only get five minutes to stay on.

[Kanoa]

Kanoa heard Kenai's story

"Oooohhhh, now thats a cool story Kenai! A unknown creature dissappearing in the lightning"

Kanoa shuddled

[Nikiski]

OOC~ Sorry to put you on the spot, Kanoa, but I think we should get the RP going!

BIC~
The fish happens to land in Kanoa's paws. I wonder what story Kanoa is going to tell...

[Spectrum]

OOC: And now, back as being Spectrue...

BiC: Seeing Kenai ready himself for a story, I thought about what kind of things this bear's done. I could not recall him saying anything about his ventures or stories, so i was interested. He probably didn't want to tell too much, because I saw him look at his totem earlier and whispered something in Koda's ear while I explained my prism. It was strange, but I listened as he told a story of a dark and stormy night...I invisioned the mass of clouds high above, drenching the world in water and black. When he told about a creature by the base of a mountain in bushes, I gasped....Something was wrong. My mind went elsewhere as he spoke.

*vague flashback*

"Spectrum! You mustn't go too fast! You'll get hurt!"

"Don't worry, Diamond! I'll be alright! We have to find the alter!" Diamond walked steadily against the wind of the cold mountain, the thunderous clouds in the hoirzon, nearing ever closer to our position. Diamond yelped.

"Maybe we should stop!?"

"No! We have to keep going!"

Suddenly a air force of nowhere struck my body. I heard her screams, yelling..

"Spectrum, look out!! NO!"

I felt myself falling down, yelling from the pain of hitting the rocky surface of the mountain, all the way down...

"AHHH!!!"

I fell to the ground and felt near unconciouseness. I laid there, my thoughts locked on the storm and Diamond. For almost an hour I laid there, my eyes wide open. I soon found a being looking over me. I could not tell who it was, my thoughts rikocheting across my nerves, creating vibrant flashes through my skull. I whispered through tight lips, still staring at nothing, when the shadow overcome again, but then was pushed back farther, as a bolt of lightning struck my torso, although I felt nothing as I was transported into darkness...My eyes appear out of my mind as I watch my figure, slowly trying to get up...Then I felt my body being irregulariaired, and configured, being changed. I felt this feeling before, only it was an overwhelming pain last time. My body was lifted into the air, and then I was lost in nothing but thoughts, as I lay on cold hard ground...

*end flashback*

I blinked hard and breathed deeply in and out, trying to calm myself of the calamity inside my thoughts...I looked at the others. Ken'ichi watched me closely. He must of seen my thoughts corrupted under the spell of a terrible event. When the fish tail was tossed to another bear, the other bear Niki introduced, Kanoa, I sliently snuck away from the group as he began to tell his story. I had to ride myself away from the sloth of bears so I could think. I walked unnoticed into the dark shrubish like forest, the thorns and branches, crushing against my body. I walked faster until I came upon a cliff. Looking around, I felt secure and alone. I looked out foward and what I saw was of magnieficent beauty. I saw the lights...The lights, that...that touch the earth.. Thinking hard as I scanned the base of the mountain, I found out that I had landed probably right there where my eye was. I thought long and hard, and then I decided it was getting dark, so I laid down to think, and I suddenly found myself falling asleep against my will...

OOC2: sorry for the long post....again...Someone needs to find me, and wake me up, most prefereably Ken'ichi or Nikiski, before night ends. I'm thinking of wrapping up my story here soon so I can be ready to come back after vacation. If at least one of the bears knows what happened to me, then they can tell the others in their own words. Kadzait may come along, if he so wishes to meet a very special husky .

[Ken'ichi]

I see the fish landing unto Kanoa's paws and I listen to his story. After he finished and passed the fish tail, I noticed that Spectrue dissapeared. I stood up and padded to the forest, a good distance from the others to have a better chance of picking up Spectrue's scent. I sniffed as I walked and found myself standing on the edge of a cliff, and what I saw was the most beautiful thing I ever seen in my life.

"Awesome..." I said in awe.

A mountain with lights that touched the earth, flying in the sky with outmost beauty, swirls of colors and lights floating way up there. I looked to my left and saw Spectrue lying there. Now I'm sure Kenai's story must've meant something to him, maybe it broke his feelings or...made him remember something. I know how it feels to hear something that makes you remember something for the past, something painful.

"Spectrue..." I say as I walk to him, he raises his head and looks at me, "Are you alright?"
