Life with Koda

[Spectrum]

As me and Ken'ichi walked out of the cave, we saw Nikiski pad on over towards us. He must of gotten his fill from fish, Diamond was behind him, supposevely looking for me. When Niki asked where we had been, I told him I had to talk to Ken'ichi about something important. I nodded toward the small lair like alter that we were just in. Niki nodded and asked if I'm ready for fish or not, as he turned around and smiled at me, motioning for me to come. I shook my head slightly and looked at him.

"Actually, Niki, I have to go... I must tell everyone goodbye. I see Kadzait and Sila are having some fun, so I guess you can tell them bye for me." I looked at Ken'ichi then I scanned the area and saw Kanoa chomping on a salmon near the water, Truttle trying to catch some fish in the river right around the mountain trail somewhat, since the snow melted. Kadzait and Sila were playing chase or something around the big field like area. I walked by the river near where Truttle and Kanoa were, Ken'ichi, Diamond and Niki following me. I would say bye to everyone I could and me and diamond would go.

"Kanoa, Truttle, gots to tell you bye, I have to go." I watch them perk there ears up and look at me. I hoped they would take it well, and just think of it as...well, a vacation from these wilderness parts.

[Kanoa]

I was shocked when I heard that Spectrue was going away. I looked at Spectrue, showing a sad face.

"Will you be coming back?"

[Truttle]

Spectrue comes over to me and Kanoa and tells us that he has to go.

"You're leaving? I guess you have things you have to take care of. Well when you come back we can hang out at the salmon run again."

[Spectrum]

I look at Kanoa, his once joyful face turning hapless at the idea of me leaving. Truttle assumes that I have things to do, and I nod asuringly, knowing that I do have...a few things to take care of.

"Yes, I will be coming back. I will look foward to seeing you all again." I looked at Kanoa again and gave him wry grin.
"Don't worry, I won't let anything go wrong, I'll be sure to return before the sun has setted more than fourteen times, two weeks." I looked around my back and smiled at Niki.
"I thank you guys, very much for letting me tarry around with you guys, it was a blast." I closed my eyes deeply, and called for Diamond. She had been drinking some water after catching a few fish. She trotted over and saw the clothes on my back. She smiled with a little concern, probably knowing what was to come.

"Let's go. We have to meet Gemini or he'll have a fit about not knowing where we were. We told him directly we were only going to be gone 2 days tops, and it's been almost half a week." The others looked with questioning eyes, and before they could ask who, I told them "He's a friend of ours who's been helping us out during our ventures. It's a bit too much to explain, so I'd better leave it at that. I'll see you all later..." Diamond interupted for a second.

"Wait, I..." She looked at the playful wolves to the right, them playing around. I sighed.

"Well, if you can stop them for a moment, you can go ahead and say bye to your rescuer." I winked. Then I told her "And tell Sila your sorry for glarin at her."

Diamond was shocked-looking at my proposal for her to apoligize to Sila for making her feel un-welcome, but with a deep sigh, she looked at me and shook her head.

"alright, I'll do it..." She trotted over on to see if she could temporarily stop the flight of the two wolves. They couldn't possibly run around forever. I turned my head back to Ken'ichi.

"See, it's nice to have friends around. Gives you someone to talk to, that's for sure..." I smiled at him and awaited for Diamond's return.

[Chasca]

I smirk, following Kadzait's lead. After all it would be fun to toy with the small weak squirrels. And I could look calm while having fun. Fun...that's a new word for me. I follow him, and then say with an evil look, "Hey, where are you two going? We just wanted to play,"

That's when I heard a twig behind me snap. Turning quickly around, I see that it's only that husky that had been glaring at me earlier...what was her name? Oh yeah, Diamond. Looking at her calmly, I ask, "What do you want?"

[Ken'ichi]

As Spectrue and I reach the others, he tells Kanoa, Truttle and Nikiski his goodbyes, Kanoa is sad to hear that Spectrue is leaving, but Truttle assures that Spectrue will be back. Spectrue tells us that he'll be back in two weeks and how much fun it was to spend time with us. Spectrue also says he'll get in trouble with his friend Gemini, and a curiousity pops into everyone's minds, including mind. Spectrue notices it and tells us he's a friend of his who has helped him a lot. However, Spectrue's leave was interrupted by a request from Diamond to say goodbye to Kadzait, the wolf who has stayed with her when she was wounded.

As she left, Spectrue looks at me and says, "See, it's nice to have friends around. Gives you someone to talk to, that's for sure..."

I smiled at him and turned around and I pad over to the river, I haven't eaten since I woke up and I'm starving. I look in the water and see a few salmon swimming right in front of me, I looked at my scar on my reflection, but instead of feeling the sadness I usually feel when I see my own scar, I smile.

"So, you'll be gone for two weeks." I look back at him with a smile still firm on my face, "I guess I can wait for two weeks."

Without taking aim or even looking, I swipe my paw into the water and a salmon comes out of the water on my paw.

"Just be ready to share all of your adventures with me, I want to learn everything there is to see out there."

[Diamond]

After Spectrum told me to go ahead and tell Kadzait bye, he quickly added that I apoligize to Sila for the way I acted earlier. I cleared my throat and looked him in the eye.

"Alright, I'll do it.." I say with a sigh. I walk over to find them playing still, messing around with the small squirels around the area. I thought that was funny, but I steadily walked nearer to the tree Sila was by. But my foot fell heavily on a tree twig, snapping behind Sila. She looks quickly behind her and sees me. I flatten my ears and get nervous.

"Uh, heheh.."
"what do you want?" She asks plainly.
"Well..I wanted to say bye to Kadzait and tell him thanks for helping me last night...He helped me recover from a serious injury..I don't mean to barge in on your fun..." I cough and scratch my paw. "I also, uh...wanted to say sorry for uh, giving you a bad look..." I closed my eyes and peered over to Kadzait behind the tree. He stopped messing with the squirels and walked over, asking what was up.
"Me and Spectrum are going now..We have to go see a friend of ours... And...I wanted to thank you Kadzait, once again, for helping me last night. I guess, uh...we'll be going... Bye..." I walked away slowly back to Spectrum. I wondered if I'd see Sila again, and perhaps I'd give a better start to be friends or something...I dunno... I'll just wait to see what the future holds for me.

[Kadzait]

Sila joins me as we chase the hapless squirrels, who scream in terror. Suddenly, I notice that Sila is no longer chasing them, and I turn around to see that Diamond was talking to her, a little hotly. I tilted my head, wondering what was going on, and I padded over to Sila and Diamond.

"What's up?" I ask. She replies that both she and Spectrue....or did she say Spectrum? I figure it must be a nickname she gave him. She said that they were leaving to see a friend, and she thanked me for helping her. I shook my head.

"Really, it was nothing." I say to her. Diamond turns and says they'll be leaving.

"Are you coming back? You and Spectrue?" I ask.

[Chasca]

I blink in shock when Diamond apologizes. I had expected her to yell at me or something. "Uh...it's okay," I say; I'm not used to this sort of thing. "Errm...I'm sorry for giving you a bad impression..." I mutter awkwardly, as she answers Kadzait's question.

I'm surprised that the two are leaving, and also I notice that that the name she used sound different. I could have sworn it was Spectrue. Maybe I heard it wrong. "Bye..." I say quietly, my voice fading off.

I kind of hope to see them again. Though I think I'll be gone by then.

[Diamond]

"Yes...Spec will be back..I...on the other hand, will probably be stuck wandering around uselessly, now Spec probably can't trust me much anymore. He sort of...watches over me most of them time, since he's a bit older than I, and I don't have anywhere else to go, as the humans I've been domesticated with were all very cruel...What is happening to this world nowadays?" I look to Sila. "It's alright, you didn't do anything" I sigh deeply and walk away. "I do hope to see you again, maybe we can get back together sometime...I don't know. Maybe I'll see you sooner than you think." I talk as I walk, heading towards Spectrum. I hear a faint 'bye...' from Sila. Maybe I'll look foward to my next visit to the Northern Territories...

[Kadzait]

Diamond responds that Spectrue will probably be back, but not she. She turns to Sila and apologizes, saying she hopes to see her again.

"Well, see ya' later!" I call as Diamond walks away with Spectrue.

"I'm sure she'll be back. " I say to no one in particular, for Diamond had a look in her eye that said so. Didn't know how I knew it, it just seemed that way. I decide I need to say goodbye to Spectrue as well. I hop up and pad over to the silvery bear.

"See you later, Spectrue." I say with a grin, "Happy travels to you!"

[Nikiski]

Hearing Spectrue leaving is like a thunder in my ears.

"What?"

I cannot believe what I've just heard.

"You leaving? Are you coming back?"

Spec tells me that he WILL come back. Well, OK... fine...

"Well... just remember to come back... you still haven't visited my cave yet eh?"

I smile as I see Diamond run towards the wolves.

"Before you go, here's a fish for ya."

Spec takes the fish.

"Come back real soon, OK?"

Spec nods.

[Spectrum]

After Diamond returned, I thought the moment would never end when I was watching Ken'ichi, with a smile on his face. I nodded at his acceptance of him being able to wait for two weeks. Kadzait comes on over and tells me he'll see me later. He grins and wishes me happy trails.

"For sure, Kadzait. I anticipate our next meeting. Goodbye, wanderer!" I pat Kadzait on the back, and Diamond follows me as we walk towards the trail back down the mountain. I turned around and waved goodbye to everyone, Diamond waved a paw too. Sila watched closely from afar, giving Diamond a short calm smile, Kanoa almost was at tears, waving and telling us to come back soon, Truttle giving a grin and a happy farewell shake of the paw from the air, Nikiski was sad to see me go, but he waved a feeble paw and winked at me, Kadzait waved with a grin on his face, and finally Ken'ichi watches me from the center of the group, a smile on his face, his ears perked slightly, thinking a thought noone else was probably thinking. I shifted my eyes to him and told him with my thoughts, I can't wait to see you again. I thought he thought the same. Me and Diamond stopped waving and we headed down the trail. As soon as we got far enough away, Diamond gasped.

"Alright, Spectru~e, what's the deal, huh?! Whatcha do? Huh, huh, huh!?" She bounced at me, rubbing me on the shoulder with her paw. I rolled my eyes at her excitement to hear what I did. As we walked slowly, I told her of all we had done, all that had happened. As I talked, we kept walking, getting closer to cliff edges, she finally asked me.

"So, are you able to go back, or are you just carrying those clothes for sentimental perposes?" She chuckled.

"Well, I did figure out this prism thing that's going on, Diamond. I figured out that once we visit each of the 7 alters, like the one we just visited, I'll be able to reincarnate among different forms, like this bear form. but as well as doing that, once I visit the alter as the animal I am supposed to acquire strength from, I will have the ability to go back and forth. Like now, I was reincarnated into a bear, had to goto the alter, I had a strange dream, and then my prism had been carved out of nowhere into the shape of this bear, and then i got the ability to go back. Watch!" I thought strongly on how I was wanting to be a fox. Then suddenly, before Diamond's eyes, I transformed back into a fox very swiftly and quickly.

"Wowww! that's so cool spec....Do it again!"

"no."

"do it again!" she pounced on me.

"Ok, ok..." I transformed back to bear.

"Do it again!"

I transformed back

"Do it again, do it again!" She was doing this to get on my nerves, so I snapped at her.

"No more! I can't do this all the time..."

"Oh...um...one more time!?"

"NO!" I said. Now she was irratating me. I ran down the mountain, trying to get away from her, but she playfully messed with me.

"Oh come on!!!" We kept running down the mountain, and before we knew it, we were on the ground and base of the mountain. She kept buggin me. I sighed as she kept doing this, and I mocked her. We kept going at eachother for quite a while. This was what friends were for, I supposed. Then I thought maybe I'll look foward to coming back sooner than maybe I plan..But oh well, she's just messing with me, I thought. I get used to it, heh.

OOC: The end of Spectrum's story. I will have Spectrum come back in a little bit more than two weeks from now! thanks for the great times roleplaying guys, it's been great! I will still watch the roleplay from now on, and maybe I'll get a chance to get on a comp in the library in CA. LATER EVERYONE!!!

[Ken'ichi]

OOC: See ya in two weeks Spec, have fun!

BIC: After I've eaten the salmon, I watch with a smile on my face as Spectrue and Diamond leaves us behind for his two week adventure. Just imagine all of the stories he'll have when he returns, but I'm still worried about that hunter we've fought with at the top of the mountain, I still doubt he could've survived a fall down a cliff, so why am I worried?

"Wow..." I whisper to myself low enough for the others not to hear it, "How cool would it be to transform back and forth to a bear and fox whenever you want..."

I think about that possibility, it would be so cool! But only Spectrue has that gift, but I also have a gift of my own, friends who deeply care for me to be considered a family. I just can't wait to hear what stories Spectrue will have when he returns, it'll be great. I turn around to the others with a smile on my face.

"Alright, last one back to the salmon run is a rotten egg!" I shout as I began running back to the salmon run.

[Nikiski]

Seeing Spectrue go makes me a bit sad, but, well he's gonna come back anyways. I wave until Spec and Diamond are out of sight. I look at Ken'ichi as he talks to himself... I'm not bothered by that. Ken'ichi shouts:

"Alright, last one back to the salmon run is a rotten egg!"

I say:

"Ha, there's no way you're gonna beat me, watcha!"

I start running towards the salmon run.
