BIC: My question was also asked by Spectrue and Truttle, and our answer came from Niki, he said we'll be there in a few minutes. Suddenly, my eyes began to feel...heavy. Now that I think of it, I didn't get much sleep last night, I was half the night awake because of a nightmare I had, that was before I met these guys. I rubbed my eyes, trying to stay awake, but I couldn't. I laid down with half-opened eyes and before I could tell the others to wake me up when we reached the salmon run, I fell asleep.

OOC~ Heh, to my supprise, I am able to get on the computer for a few minutes... So I'm going to post another one  BTW I thought it might be more appropiate to do it in present tense? BIC~ Ken'ichi fall asleep on my back. Ah well, that kid didn't get much sleep last night, I think. As we are approaching the run, I can hear bears cheering and catching fish.
I see Tug, and some other bears I know. I carefully put Ken'ichi by a tree by the river, where I can keep an eye on him when I catch something to eat. I quickly get myself 10 fish and I return to where Ken'ichi is sleeping. |

OOC: Being able to completely delete previous posts is pretty convenient.
BIC: Just a few more minutes and we'd be at the salmon run. I saw that Ken'ichi had fallen asleep on Nikiski's back. It seems that Ken'ichi was still very tired. I still couldn't help but wonder how he could've gotten that scar, But I didn't want to upset him by asking.
"Poor kid. He must be exhausted." I thought to myself.
As we approach the edge of the woods I can hear the sound of rushing water and other bears. I was so excited that I ran ahead to get my first glimpse at the salmon run. What I beheld before me was the most beutiful spectacle I've ever seen. Bears of all ages all over fishing and playing, roaring waterfalls falling from beautiful rock formations, and best of all. So much salmon. I knew I was going to like it here.
"This is wonderful. I have to see it all. I see you guys later. I'm going to take a look around."
I went off to wander around the salmon run.

OOC~ This might me a good time for somebody to come in, eh? As we're finally at the famous Salmon Run...  BIC~ I see Truttle having fun with other bears, Kenai and Koda sliding down the "water slide", Spectrue trying to catch fish. I feel great!
I eat a fish. Hm... nothing compares to a juicy and refreshing salmon in this summer weather! |

I look ahead, and my nose picks up the scent of water, large amounts of water. We had arrived at the salmon run! Without a second wasted, I run and leap into the water, swiming through it with ease. It felt so good to be back!

Kenai:
Finally we arrived at the salmon run, and, it seems, singing along with Koda's song helped the journey along faster. I watch as Koda goes and leaps in the water, and I smile at him. Nikiski catches some fish and then goes and sits by the sleeping Ken'ichi. Truttle goes off to explore. All I feel like doing is plopping down and resting. So I do so, as I take in all the sights, smells and sounds. Then I realized I had to think of a story to tell later. Hmmm....

OOC: Are wolves allowed at the salmon run? I was in another roleplay....but it is pretty much dead.

Yeah, but it's been a long time since the story has moved on.

Anywho, I'll hide in the shadows, Kadzait is a wandering wolf, who was thrown out of his pack a while ago.
BIC: Through the trees, my green eyes take in the marvelous sight. Bears of all shapes, sizes and colors have swarmed the river, pretty much leaving it impossible for me to go and snag a fish. I notice a new group of bears come into the area, very near to where I now stand. I try not to make a sound as one sets a sleeping cub a few feet away, hoping they won't find me out and drive me away.

OOC~ Oh yeah, why not... We welcome animals! ;D *Big bear hug from me  BIC: I feel the presence of an unfamaliar animal. I sniff and I am not famaliar with the scent. I hear something walking closer and closer. I turn around... I see a wolf!"Aaaaaaahhhhhh!" I looked at the wolf, he has no intention to attack me at all. I feel dumb all of a sudden..."Aah?" He asks me why I was yelling."Err.. I was just practicing to sing..." Gee... that probably woke Ken'ichi up... |

OOC: Welcome Kadzait! BIC: My eyes shot open after I dreamt another nightmare. This time, I had slept through the whole thing, I sit up and rub my head. "Same dream...again." The ending of this nightmare was different though...I was killed by a hunter. I look around at my new sorroundings, we reached the salmon run while I was sleeping. I long was I out? I'm still tired though, so I lay back down and closed my eyes to rest for a little while longer. My eyes shot open again and I stood up on all four when I heard Nikiski yell. "Nikiski!" I sniffed around and ran toward where I picked up Niki's scent. |

I sit and watch the young cub sleeping, then see a large bear coming my way. I freeze, hoping he won't see me. Suddenly, we come face to face, and he screams as I press my ears against my head, waiting for a blow from a giant paw. But nothing happens, I open my eyes, and the bear goes "aah?" Figuring I was more afraid of him than he was of me, me being much smaller than him, I ask him:
"Uh, why were you yelling?" I ask, warily. the bear tells me he was practicing his singing skills. This causes me to smile. This bear seemed harmless enough. "I do a bit of...well, singing myself. It's more howling actually!" I grin. "My name's Kadzait, what's yours?" I ask.

OOC:...Oh, hey, Kadzait! ;D Welcome. I need to, um...catch up now...meh...  BiC: Walking along the path, I hear sounds...Gushing sounds. Falling sounds. Splashing sounds...Was that the salmon run? I could tell we were in a different area, I smelled unfamiliar scents. I'd never been to a salmon run, so I ran ahead along with the others, to see much more. In my vision, I saw bears, lots of them, running around, catching fish, falling down the falls of the rocks, looking like they were overjoyed. It looked like one of those "water theme parks" I saw when I was younger with my parents...... Shaking the thought out of my mind of my guardians, I walked slowly around the area, looking vastly above the many waterfalls, and more importantly, I saw what you would obviously see here. SALMON. TOO MUCH SALMON. I was never fond of sea food, but apparently my tastes had changed when I had...become... Suddenly, my thoughts were shaken up when I heard a loud scream. I guessed it was Niki, and I ran towards him. It had better not be a hunter... "Nikiski, what's wrong!?" I yelled as I lept up to his position behind a rock. But i saw no hunter. I only saw a mere wolf. Strange...I thought wolves were supposed to be rivals of bears...Diamond even told me stories of how she saw strange competitions between the two... Ah, well. I wasn't scared, I'd never been scared by a wolf. Walking up to him I asked him "Hey, what's going on?" The wolf didn't look too dangerous. I still, even though friendly enough, stood my guard, awaiting whatever response. I'd known how to deal with wolves many times before, after all, I used to hang out with a loner... |

I ran and found Niki, Spectrue beat me to him.
"Niki, I-"
I stopped when I saw a wolf with them, he looked harmless, but I learned in the past never to take chances. I kept my eyes at the wolf, never letting my guard down.
"Ummm...Nikiski, who's he?"

I grin again at the bear, but then suddenly, another large bear comes running over. I start, my ears pressing against my head, my eyes growing wide with fear. This bear looked like he meant business. He asked what was going on, and I tried my best not to make him feel threatened enough to hurt me.
"Just simply passing by, good sir," I said, the back of my neck bared in a sign of submission. Just then the little cub I had seen sleeping earlier came running up between the two, then his face became rigid as well. I nodded to the cub as well.
"Hi, little one," I said with a friendly grin. "I'm Kadzait." I said, to the cub and the new bear, and I made as if to be moving on. "Again, just passing through, didn't mean to bother you."
