Life with Koda

[Spectrum]

"Wow...Sounds like much fun. I'll be in for that."

I thought about when the lights touch the mountain...It might be a good idea to try to find out where I might be able to climb up there...I was going to ask Ken'ichi more, but he told me we mine's well go back with the others. I nodded.

"Ok, sounds good to me."

I walked with him back to the others. I thought about Ken'ichi's scar...I'd not been able to bring myself to ask him...about it, but I was curious. Though I wanted to learn of his own story, I decided against asking him, he might be offended...I looked at my own scar, slowly inveloping in my arm from the hunters' attacks earlier. I wondered if I could get rid of it later? I don't know...I just kept thinking too much..

[Kadzait]

OOC: Huzzah, 20 pages!

BIC: As I watch Spectrum walk off, and Ken'ichi follow him, I begin to feel sad for the bear. After all, no one was hurt, and it was pretty much a harmless joke. I looked to Koda, who was shaking out his fur and the rest of his shakeyness, and I grin down at him.

"Say, your friend Spectrue seems to be in need of a cheering up. Waddaya say?" I ask with a gentle smile.

[Koda]

As Spectrue walked off, with Ken'ichi at his heels, Kadzait looked down to me and asked if we should go cheer him up. I thought that was a great idea, and besides, I wasn't really scared.

"Okay, let's go!" I say to Kadzait. We pad over to Spectrue and Ken'ichi is by his side.

"Hey, Spectrue," I say, "I wasn't really scared, I just wanted you to feel you had done a good scaring job." I grin, hoping that I was convincing enough. Can't let the impression get out that I scare easily. I change the subject.

"You ready for the big party tonight?" I ask, staring to jump up and down with excitement, "I can't wait to tell my story!" I look up at Kadzait. "Do you know about the party? We catch fish, eat fish, tell stories and watch the lights touch the earth, you will stay, won't you?" I beg with big eyes.

[Spectrum]

Looking to see Koda and Kadzait walking towards us, he told me that he wasn't really scared that bad, he just wanted to me feel like I did a good scaring job...Uh-huh, Sure, I say in my mind. I smirk at the thought of Koda, Actually being SCARED...heh. I shook away the thought and told Koda.

"I'm sure. Ok, well, thanks. Heh..Glad you didn't make a scene along with it too, heh.."

Koda mentions the party and starts getting the jidders. Man, does this kid have jumpin fleas for brains, or what? I didn't say anything, I just nodded with a smile.

"I do look foward to being at this 'party'..." He tells Kadzait about the stories and games and such. My eyes widened as I thought of the dreadful promise I made earlier today...I was going to tell the other half of my story...I sighed and thought that maybe it'd best not to tell them entirely...Just about the prisms and put myself out of context so they won't think I..
Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted when Koda said in a high voice asking if Kadzait would stay or not. I thought maybe Koda was into wolves or something.

"Yea, it'd be cool if you could stay tonight, Kadzait. Maybe perhaps you have a story to tell, hm?"

Thinking of another ones burden of thinking of a story to tell would probably set my mind aside from my own problem. looked at the sun, getting ever so close to making it's sunset...

[Nikiski]

BIC~

As I listen to Truttle, I see Spectrue trying to scare everyone, but everybody give him a serious look. I'm a little far away from them and I don't know what they are talking about.

"Come, Truttle, let's go and see what's up."

We walk over to where the other bears are.

"So... How's everybody doing?"

[Kadzait]

We walk over to Spectrue and Koda explains how he wasn't really scared, and I chuckle to myself. He then begins to explain about some party the bears have. He turns to me and begs me to stay and join in. It sounded like loads of fun, and it was nice not to be by myself for once. I only had to share a story. It could be anything. I could think about that later. I nodded.

"I would love to join you." say, and look to see Nikiski and Truttle coming over to join us. "Would the other bears mind, I mean, I know you don't, but what about them?" I ask, nodding to the dozens of other bears who were frolicking around.

[Nikiski]

"Oh I'm sure they don't mind. Tug has got a family of chipmucks living with him..."

I grin and sit beside Kadzait.

"And, we often get different kind of visitors from all around this continent!"

I point at a bear.

"That's Bruce, he's from the eastern part of this continent."

I point at another bear.

"Oh ya and that's Rupert, he's a great fisher."

I look at Kadzait.

"So, Kadzait, what do you think 'bout here?"

[Ken'ichi]

I hear as Nikiski answering Kadzait's question if the bear's didn't mind if he would join us. Then Niki started talking to him about something.

I looked at Koda, he's excited about having Kadzait joining us. I looked at Spectrue and he seems kind of happy as well.

I on the other hand, am kind of distracted. A story to tell...maybe I should tell them my horrid chapter...my horrid memory...my horrid story...

[Kadzait]

I smile at Nikiski's question.

"I love it here!" I respond to him. He also states how there are varieties of different animals at the salmon run from time to time, and also different species of bears. I sit myself down. Time to think of a story to tell, before I am caught off guard. I look over to Koda, who is jumping around, bubbling with excitement, then over to Ken'ichi, who looked a little distracted, if not hurt. I thingyed my head curiously, wondering what he could be thinking. Story, story, I reminded myself, gotta think of a story. I don't know if I dared tell about....no, I shouldn't, it was much to early for that. Looking at the two cubs, I remembered a story from my puphood, back when I was still part of a pack. I grinned.

[Koda]

I smile even wider as Kadzait tells us he'll stay for the party. I begin to jump around excitedly, thinking of which story I could tell. I had so many! I pounce on Ken'ichi.

"Let's wrestle!" I laugh.

[Koda]

As Kenai:

I watch as Koda jumps around excitedly, ready for the big storytelling party. Now I had to think of a story to tell....hum...what could I tell? Certainly not all the traps that I have walked into, that would never do. As I give it more thought, I watch Koda tackle Ken'ichi, and they start wrestling, and the wolf, Kadzait, chuckles at their antics.

[Ken'ichi]

I was thinking of the storytelling part of the party, to tell you the thruth, I don't know what to tell. I was thinking of not taking part of it, but something inside of me encouraged me to do so. My friends probably expect to tell them about my scar, but I'm not so sure about that...maybe...

I looked down at the water below me and looked at my reflection, the wound I got from fighting that hunter, it healed and left me another scar.

Before I could make up my mind, Koda pounces me and wants to wrestle with me. I smile and let my mind free of my troubles as I push Koda off of me and jump on him and start wrestling with him.

[Truttle]

As Nikiski and I talk, we notice something going on between Spectrue and the others. Nikiski notions for us to see what was going on. It was just a small prank that got everyone a little worked up but it wasn't a big deal. Spectrue mentions that he met a big bear who told him about a party today. Koda then asks Kadzait to join us at the party. This must be that story telling game they have. I was interested in hearing what kind of stories a wolf would have to share. I then started to think of a story that I should share.

[Nikiski]

I watch the cubs wrestle, and that reminds me the time when I was still a cub. Aah, I loved wrestling.

Looking at the sun, knowing that the storytelling party is going to start soon...

"Hey guys, you've thought about a story to tell yet?"

I ask.

[Spectrum]

I look as the cubs wrestle with eachother. Seemed they'd want me to join, but I thought that maybe now I should settle down a bit and I listened to the wind for a moment, wrustling the nearby trees and waving the water a bit. Niki asked us if we have thought of something to share yet, and I pondered for a moment. Maybe it'd be best to tell the rest of my important story later on, when I'm alone with the others I can trust, Niki, Ken'ichi, Truttle, Kenai, and Koda. Maybe I could tell Kadzait, but he'd probably much rather not, so I'll wait til a day I might come across him again. when this whole thing's over with...

"I'm not completely sure if I should share the rest of that tale I was telling you guys earlier, Niki...I'm thinkin I should tell some of my other past truthes.."

Kadzait looked over to me and asked "What tale?"

"Uhm...Well, I told the others I'm with here, a little about my prism..." I let my prism dangle out for Kadzait to see. I seen his eyes grow in awe, and I prepared myself for yet another explanation.
