I glance at Truttle sulking at the river. He's still upset about earlier? Geez, if I had known that I wouldn't have been as harsh. No, wait. Yes I would have. That bear's got a confidence issue or something though...I mean, I didn't actually mean to ruin his mood. Well, whatever. Not really my problem.
I notice that Kadzait had drifted off of his reply. When he says about his former pack, I can understand. I know what it's like all too well. Trying not to look like I would, I reply, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want. We haven't known eachother for long."

"Yeah, maybe that story is best saved for...for later." I say. I turn my head over toward Truttle, who seems a little upset. I feel bad for him. Then I turned back toward Sila.
"So, what do you like to do for fun?" I ask, changing the subject.

I nod in understanding; Kadzait's story can be told later...if he trusts me later.
I'm surprised when he asks me what I like to do for fun. What's fun again? Oh yeah...that. I haven't had fun in a long time. I shrug, and suddenly become very interested in the grass. "I don't have time for fun," I reply.

"Don't have time for fun?!" I say, flabberghasted, "Now what on earth could make you too busy for fun?" I was startled. This wolf must've had a rough past to not have time for fun. "Well, we have plenty of time up here, so how 'bout we jog your memory a bit, eh?" I hop to my feet, ready for a game of tag.

"Well uhm...no...I don't," is all I can reply before he goes on.
I begin to scratch my paw absently into the grass. "Well...I'm too busy getting...to my next destination," I reply to his next question, staring at the torn grass as if it were a trap.
I stop staring at down when I see that Kadzait has hopped back up, and ask, "Uhm...what do you mean?" I look at him blankly.

Sila doesn't act as though she would like to play, or more so, that she really doesn't know how. I tilt my head again. She looks almost nervous, staring at the ground. I pause, and stop my hopping around.
"You...you really don't know how to play?" I ask, moving a bit closer. "Well, let me show you how...." Suddenly, I flick my paw out and tap her arm, then jump up and start to run.
"You're it!" I bark, hopping around.

Before I can ask Kadzait what he means by show me, I feel a tap on my arm. "Wha-? Why did you do that?" I ask, watching him hop and run.
Oh, wait. He said I'm it. That sounds familiar. Like something I did when I was a cub, maybe. I try to find the memory in my head, one of the earlier ones that I've made myself to forget. Oh, yeah...I realize what he's doing. He's trying to play tag with me.
Not used to it, I hesitantly walk towards him. Then I remember I'm supposed to run...not walk. I feel like I can't do it though. There's something stopping me. I'm not used to it. Finally I force myself to chase after him, and after starting to get the feel of it, I reply, "Oh, are you sure?"

I hesitate for a moment as Sila looks unsure, then she starts her way toward me. It looks as though she is starting to remember how to play the game, and I grin. She looks at me and says, "Oh are you sure?" I laugh and start running, her hot on my tail.
"Haha!! you'll never catch me!" I laugh.

Before I can stop myself I laugh, and reply, "We'll see about that!"
I shake my head, realizing that what I'm doing, and replace my probably stupid looking grin with a smirk. But, I still chase after him. I manage to increase my pace, only a few feet from him now. Straining to get closer, I finally manage to get beside him, and say, "Hey, Kadzait," already lifting my paw to tap him back.

Soon, Sila is right upon me, lifting her paw, she taps me on the back, and I skid in the dirt a couple of feet, ready for a rebound.
"You won't get away that easily!" I laugh, chasing after her, splashing through the river as I give chase! I grin, realizing she was having fun, and enjoying it.
"Haha!! Here I come!"

I laugh, running through the river until I see Kadzait's in it too, and run out. I can be sarcastic and serious later.
As I try to increase the gap in between us, I reply, "You'll have to try harder than that!" Even though I realize he's gaining on me fast.

I increase my speed, swerving as I come upon a tree, barely missing it, its bark brushing my fur. With each stride I come closer, until I leap, and pretty much tackle Sila, and we go sliding in the dirt. Coughing, I jump back up and start running.
"Ha *cough* ha!! you're it!" Running through the water, I become one muddy wolf!

Still lying in the dirt to catch my breath, I spring up and begin sprinting towards Kadzait, and then I realize...I'm covered in dirt...and there's water.
Running through the water anyway after him, I too become rather muddy. Heck, I probably look like some half-wolf half mud-thingie that came from nowhere. "You're going to pay for that you know!" I laugh.

I keep running, looking back to see Sila as mud-covored as I am, and laughing! She yells out how I'm going to pay for that. I snicker
"Not with a pace like yours! You won't catch up with this wolf! I'm as fast as the wind itself! Ha ha!!" I continue to run, running past Nikiski, Truttle and Diamond.
"Hey guys!" I laugh.
