Looking at Sila's Suspicious face, I figure that she must be thinking I want something in return...

"No, you deserve it, and it's a gift! I wouldn't want anything in return. Nope, never."

OK, this should settle that matter.

"You see, I'll do anything to protect my friends. I love sharing! Just treat this gift as a welcome gift from me, OK?"

Will this work? I doubt it, but, ah well...

[Truttle]

As we're walking back to the salmon run. I'm walking in the back as Nikiski and Sila talk together. I begin to think about Nikiski's brother.

"What does it feel like to lose someone dear to you. I haven't lost anyone so I wouldn't know what that felt like. Could I have been taking life for granted? Sure, I've gone through a lot of hardships in my life, a difficult childhood, but it doesn't seem to compare to some of the things these guys have gone through. I should be more appreciative of what I have."

[Chasca]

OOC: Na uh! That bio is uhm...not valid!

BIC:

Before I can say anything, Nikiski hands me a bone ornament. "Wow..." I murmur, shocked and honored. I'm not used to anyone giving me anything, and I probably look really stupid at the moment. It's been really a long time since I've received anything from...anyone. And the last one to do it...well...I basically hate him with a passion.

But, still, I can't help smiling gratefully, and replying, "Thank you...how'd you know I'd like this though?" I asked, surprised. Then I remember he said welcome...wait. Does that mean I'm sticking here? Well...I can think about that later, I guess.

OOC: I go to bed now. *falls on the keyboard*

[Nikiski]

OOC~ Chasca, just a public congrat for being a rabbit now!

I don't know exactly what to give her, but I think I'd give her something special. I know this area and I found a bone ornament last year, which probably belonged to a human. I buried it under a tree as I thought it might come in handly later.

Indeed it works, I sniff around, find the spot, dig the ornament up and hand it to Sila. She looks happy. Good!

"Glad you like it, Sila."

We continue down the path to the river.

[Kanoa]

~OOC~ A rabbit ;D..And Niki, you are? (Points at your status)

~BIC~
"Gah, where am I? I must have dosed off"

(Likely story)

Noticing everyone going back to the Salmon Run. I shouted

"Wait up!"

[Nikiski]

I notice Kanoa is far behind.

"Ok ok, we'll wait for ya, don't sorry eh?"

I slow down do let Kanoa catch up with us.

OOC~ Yay! 44 pages! Feels good!

[Kanoa]

~BIC~
Panting along, I managed to catch up with the rest.

"Thanks guys"

OOC: Two more pages overnight, cool.

BIC:

I feel like I'm going to die, the blood just keeps coming out and the pain still resumes, and my wound isn't showing any sign of healing any time soon. I then start to hear a commotion. I open my eyes to see what's the commotion and I gasp to see Nikiski floating in the air, I kept watching in awe as Niki started descending to the ground...What just happened?

Nikiski wakes up and looks around, like if he just missed a party or something, that's when I noticed his wound has somehow been healed. I sigh in relief, glad he's okay, but my relief fades away when another stream of pain surges through my body, I forcefuly close my eyes and grunt by the pain, clutching to my wound with the item Sila gave me a while ago while I hear Sila explaining to Niki what just happened. I then find myself under the shadow of someone, I open my left eye to see Nikiski standing in front of me. Before I could ask him if he's OK, I see something around his neck, and it starts floating to my wound and touches it. I suddenly felt relief of the pain, I take off the fur-like item from my wound to find it completely healed. I just looked at my shoulder surprised.

Sila asks Niki if he remembered what happened why he floated. Niki sits beside me and tells us what he thought was a dream, about seeing his brother, who was a spirit. How he healed Niki's wound and about the crystal that he recieved from his brother. After the little chat between Sila and Niki, we learn the two new bears' name, then they decide to go back to the river. I still feel like staying here for a little bit longer.

"uhh...you guys go ahead, I'll catch up!"

After they walk away, I look at the northern lights, Niki's story about how he saw his brother again made me think. What about my brother, my mother and my father? How are they doing up there? Are they well? Are they proud of me of the path I chose?

I got back up on all four, my left arm felt a little sore, probably because of the damage it recieved from having a knife thrusted into it's shoulder. I kept looking at the northern lights as I kept questioning the same questions over and over in my head. I haven't seen my family again for a loooong time, heck, I don't even remember how they looked like.

I turn around to catch up with the others, after I took three steps, I turn my head back to the northern lights, turned around and continued walking back to the salmon run river.

OOC: Hey guys, my fic based on this RP has two chapters now, I'm planning of writing a new chapter for it daily so check it out often for new chapters. Oh, and remember to read&review please! ;D

OOC: Thanks, Nikiski!

BIC:

After Kanoa catches up I smirk and walk at a faster pace. Why? Because, I'm like that. "Gee, Kanoa...to think you can't keep up," I say with fake surprise, scoffing.

"Maybe you should pay more attention..." I add, grinning sarcastically. But, this time I'm not doing it to down anyone. I'm still not quite adjusted to this...'friend' thing, or whatever it is. I hope he can tell.

[Nikiski]

Sila DOES walk pretty fast, even after all those fighting. Man, she's physically quite well!

***ARRIVAL AT THE SALMON RUN***

We're back at the run. While others run into the river to catch fish, I find a cool spot by the river under a tree just to lie down for a little while. I notice Sila comes beside me and lies down.

"Are you going to do anything, Sila?"

[Chasca]

I glance at Nikiski, not bothering to move my head. Voice muffled from my head resting in my fur, I reply, "No...not right now. Actually I'm kind of tired..." I pause. "I haven't gotten much sleep lately..." I laugh quietly. Kind of a bitter laugh. When do I ever rest?

"So I think I'll just stick here for a little while...if that's alright," I barely lift my head, looking questioning. I can always leave if he wants.

[Nikiski]

"Yah, that's all right..."

I look at my chest once again. Could I have been killed if my brother didn't heal my wounds? The scar sure does look deep... What if the hunters poke into me a little harder? Would I have been dead even sooner? All these question arise from my mind...

I notice Sila is watching me examining the scar. She asks me what I am doing.

"Uum, I am just thinking... about the scar..."

[Chasca]

I frown thoughtfully at Nikiski's reply. "Really? What about it?" I asked, wondering what was so interesting about a scar. Besides, how it healed and such.

I study him, trying to think what he could be thinking about. Blank.

[Nikiski]

"Uum, I'm just thinking what would happen if I wasn't healed... or if the hunters poke at me a little harder..."

A scary thought, I shake it off and look at Sila, listening to her reesponse.

"You haven't told me how you were, right? You mind telling me a little about yourself? I mean, I can tell you about myself first if you want me to..."

I am buried in deep thoughts.

[Truttle]

"Sila and Nikiski seem to be getting along just fine. I'm going to do some exploring. There was this cool place I saw earlier that I want to check out."
