Life with Koda

Suddently, I felt I've been taken out from where I was... It was hard to explain... It felt like I was floating in the air. I saw the lights touched the earth, all of a sudden, with a loud thunder, I saw bears in the lights. They were all translucent, and had an orange-red auroa around them. I did not know what to say nor what to oo. I was just floating there with my mouth wide open.

I saw my brother, smiling at me in the lights. I closed my mouth and gave him a big smile in return. May be he's happy with the spirits and I don't need to worry about him anymore...

~OOC~ By the way, anyone taking up the character as Kenai? The original Kenai is not gonna be in the roleplay anymore :\

Hm... I think the Kenai in this RP is "Denahi" LOL

I sit and listen as Truttle and Spectrue share their stories. I shiver at the thought of being stuck underwater and not being able to breath. I shake it off, glad that he was alright. Spectrue tells his story of the wild boar, and it reminds me of the wolverine. I chuckle, remembering how scary that was, but kind of funny now that it was over. After all the stories had been told, everyone started to go to sleep, and I drifted off myself, and began to dream.

I was running through a large dandylion field with my mom, and we were having a great time chasing each other. Suddenly, my mom stopped, and I saw a green hue fill the air. Confused I began to sniff, but found myself waking up, away from my pleasant dream. Then I realized that the green hue was really around me. I stood up, a little afraid at first. I notice Spectrue, gasping as the green light dissapears.

"Spectrue, what was that?" I ask, eyes wide with wonder.

[Spectrum]

OOC: finally, your alive koda...

BiC: "Koda..?"

I stiffened up.

"Uhhh...um...I.."

I looked around, trying to find out what I was going to say.

"It...it was just the way the light shown on my prism...uh...I don't know what it was, but I admired it in it's beauty while I was trying to get a drink of water..."

I looked out toward the mountains and saw the lights vagually.

"It was...those lights, I suppose...they may be far away, but my prism pendum can catch lights from miles away..it must of...uh...caught glint of the green light from the aurora's..."

I couldn't tell what his expression was, it was so dark. I shrugged and stood still for moments that seemed like hours. I didn't know if he was gunna ask anything more, but I tried walking to the water pond to pretend I was gunna drink. He followed me. He'll probably wanna know more, I thought with exasperation...

OOC~ YaI'm still "sleeping" *snores*

I hate this... I think it was the electricity, but I think there was no power for the whole day? How do I know that? well, when I come back from school, all my unsaved works are gone... *grins*

I listen as Spectrue tries to explain the wierd green glow. It makes enough sense to me, since I can't think of a better explaination for the phenomenon. I follow my new friend to get a drink, and look at his prism closer.

"Kenai's got something like that, it's not a prism....or whatever you called that, but it's a rock."

I take a drink, looking over curiously at Spectrue.

"So, uh, what is that prism thing, Spectrue?" I ask him, sitting down by the pond.

[Spectrum]

"Kenai...has a rock around his neck?...Sounds like...some kind of piece of symbol...or something...is it...like a totem?"

I stood thoughtful for a minuite and than drank a little.

"This prism...thing...It's a formation of a sort of mineral. I don't know if you'd understand it, but it's made from a material called lead...Lead is a neat substance, and in it's first state, it can be broken down into a small object called a crystal. Certain things make crystals, like coal can make diamonds, and other stuff. The crystal produced from lead is called a prism. It produces a spectral of light, seperating the colors from white light, like the light you see from the sun. If it were not for prismetic values from such things like prisms, water, ice and other stuff, we wouldn't have the lights that...touch the earth..."

I could tell that he was getting tired from the science. I decided to speed it up a bit.

"In other words, my crystal prism can "reflect" and "refract" light to make it appear in colors. So next time you see the sun blind you in the eyes during a wake up call, you can use a prism to reflect that light into a rainbow. that is sort of the same that happens after all the water from a storm has settled around the land, and then the morning sun catches the rain drops, reflecting into a great rainbow."

I sipped a little more water.

"You can get prisms from humans who make them. But I got mine from a far away land. This place has no use for such crystals, so you wouldn't see them around here..."

I held out my prism once again in my paw barely. I shown it up to the full moon's light, and a tint of rainbows fell upon my face. I kept myself steady for Koda to see.

"See? This is how it looks just from the moonlight. Imagine from a great amount of light! That's why I keep it tugged away in my...maine so it won't blind anyone, heheh.."

I stuffed it back in my maine hidden away. I guessed Koda must of liked the explanation.

"I think it'd be best to go ahead and get some sleep, now, huh? Let's go back to sleep."

I walked back to my spot and sat down.

"Good night. I won't wake up anymore tonight, so expect some quiteness..."

I laid down and got comfortable and tried closing my eyes.

I nod as Spectrue explains all the science of his prism, though I don't understand it all. I find it really fasinating, however, and I wish I had a prism of my own to play with. I nod when Spectrue asks about Kenai's totem.

"Yeah, I guess that's what you could call it." I say. We make our way back to the cave, and Spectrue lies down, but as I am walking, it is so dark to see that I trip on a rock and go rolling right smack into Nikiski, probably waking him up.

[Nikiski]

I was in the middle of my dream, when all of a sudden I feel something rolled over me. I gasped and I was alerted.

"Huh? Who was that?"

There was no reply. It was dark in the cave. I could barely see. I was thinking who that was. Was it one of us? Or was it some sort of different animal...

I sniffed and I didn't smell anything around... I relaxed and thought that it must be Koda... Since he's the one who's always trying to scare me...

I wandered off, walked towards the pond, slowly, and trying not to wake anybody up. I heard something outside the cave.

OOC~ I did not pecify "what is outside of the cave"... someone may add something to that... I don't know...

[Truttle]

OOC: After you read this, please don't post any jokes about it. It was the best I could come up with.

BAC: In the middle of the night, I was slightly awoken by a feignt green glow followed by some voices. I saw Spectrue and Koda walk out of the cave. I was too tired to pay any attention, so I tried to get back to sleep. But just then, I felt pain in my stomach, followed by a muffled rumble.

"OH NO! I must've eaten too much fish! Now I have to go badly!" I wispered.

Panicked, I looked at Nikiski and Kenai. They were both still asleep. I tried get out of the cave as quickly as I could without waking anyone. Outside the cave, over by the water, Spectrue and Koda were getting a drink. I didn't want them to know about my problem, they'd never let here the end of it. So I rushed off to the side, into the forest and found a spot that was hidden and secluded. After handling my business, I headed back to the cave. As I was nearing the cave, the dry leaves under my paws were crunching as I walked over them.

"I hope I didn't wake anyone up."

But suddenly I saw a pair of eyes reflecting off the moonlight.

"Who is that? Nikiski? Did I wake you up? I was... uh... just getting some fresh air. Do want to get something to drink? I'll join you."

[Ken'ichi]
