OOC~ Sure no problem. Welcome, Ken'ichi! It is kinda in the middle of the night.. Shouldn't you be sleeping? ;D so I guess it would make sense to come in during the morning? Well It doesn't matter... come in whenever you can!  BIC~ "Koda... you should go to sleep... I'm just going to get a drink..." Outside of the cave was Truttle. He offered to join me to go get a drink. I nodded.
How the moon is beautiful, the stars are bright. Truttle and I walked towards the pond. I smelt Spectrue's and Koda's scent around. They must have been here not too long ago.
We are now by the pond. I took a sip of water. It was cool. The quietness of the forest and the light breeze of the wind added up to a wonderful night. I looked towards the direction of the salmon run and I saw the northern lights."It is beautiful." I looked at Truttle. He must be thinking the same thing."Truttle, where are you from?" I listened. |

OOC: Ken'ichi, hey. Welcome to the RP. Hopefully you'll be able to find a spot to enter it. Perhaps you could hear the voices of those of us who are up, or perhaps you could wait til the morning, when we're all up. These are just suggestions, do whatever you like. Make some kind of intro to your character so we're not completely oblivious to who are, even outside the RP ^_^... Oh, and Kenai is idle right now, I don't know if Denahi is gunna be able to take Kenai's role again, or if his writer's block, as he says, is tremendously annoying, so soon enough, if he can't take the role, we'll find some else. So, try not to wake up Kenai til the morning, heheheh...
BiC: Begining to finally sleep, I thought about the rustle of leaves by the trees. I heard them flicker a bit, and I peered one eye nearer to where it was. Seemed Truttle was out and up too. I decided to ignore it, and yawned. Appeared to be that Niki, Truttle, and Koda were all up. I went ahead and closed my eyes once more, but sleep just wouldn't take a hold of me. I wondered about what we were gunna do tomarrow. I simply couldn't sleep. So, I decided that I'd go ahead and listen to the others by the pond, hearing interesting stuff here and there. I simply couldn't help myself. But as the voices got fainter and fainter, I only remembered bits of it, and then finally I fell asleep.

BIC:After ramming into Nikiski, I apologize to him, and he asks if I should be in bed. I nod.
"Yeah, but I'm wide awake now.....can I come with you?" I follow Nikiski out to the pond where I had been moments before, but I took another drink anyway. The night rainbow was bursting with color in the sky, and I sat and watched it with a grin, waving to my mom, as I heard Nikiski asking Truttle where he came from.

Hm? My nose has picked up a scent. I sniffed around, following the scent. The scent led me to a lake, there I found four bears. I've seen the cub before, but I haven't seen the others before.
I don't want to bother them, I have my own problems. I turned around and walked away. But along the way I stepped on a twig and it snapped. I stopped dead in my tracks, I felt my heart beeting faster.
I heard a voice and ran behind a tree, I sighed.

"Urrrguh....Can't a guy get a little sleep around here?"
I moaned and peered open one eye to where I heard a twig snap. I decided I wasn't gunna get any sleep with everyone up but me and Kenai. Kenai...I forgot about him. I walked toward him and saw he was dead asleep. I told myself I'd better not wake him, and I walked toward the others.
"Your all still up, huh? Geeze, no wonder so many of us walk into traps so often, cuz of our lack of sleep."
I lurched to the side of some bushes, and listened. I heard breathing. Small little puffs of breath, one by one. I knew it couldn't be Koda, he was sitting right herem talking with the others in this cool night air. I sniffed and a smell of wild fur backlashed my nose. A bear was here. Small one, too. Not much older than Koda. I walked into the bushes, closer to a tree and stopped. I still heard the gasps of air coming from somewhere. I turned around facing the others. They were pre-occupied with their talking. I backed up slowly, and I felt my leg hit something furry, then plop, I fell right on top of a bush. I heard a yelp and I motioned my head towards where I tripped by the tree.
"Ouch...Hey, who's there?" I said, quietly, not to arrouse attention from the others...
I slowly got up from the bush, awaiting a reply.

"Ow..." I rubbed my head, a big bear just tripped over me.
I heard the bear asking who was there, but I stayed quiet, I doubt he has seen me. With the darkness of the night and of my fur, I was pretty much invisible at this time of night. I quietly moved around the area, trying to sneak away without making any sound. I could hear the bear walking too, trying to find me. I kept my breathing slowly and to a minimun, it almost gave me away last time. I kept walking and came to a complete stop when I again stepped on a twig. It's snapping sound probably gave away my location again, but I kept going until I reached a clearing, I must be very far from the river... I stopped and looked back, I don't see the bear.
"I think I lost him..." I said to myself.
I kept going forward while looking back, not paying attention to where I was going until...
"Whoa!"
I go flying into the air, hanging by my ankle. I looked up to see I'm dangling from a rope, a hunter's trap. I sighed in frustration, I never been caught in one of these before. I tried to free myself but I wasn't having any luck, I felt like a salmon, flopping to try to free myself. I eventually stopped and sighed in defeat. C'mon Ken'ichi, think of something quick. My thinking was interrupted when I heard a rusttle in the bushes.
"Is someone there?"

OOC~ Doesn't look like anyone wants to sleep now ;D Truttle, you can still add your story here, but I'm going to go ahead... It is just too tempting to keep writing!
BIC~ After listening to Truttle's story, I looked at the lights again, and sighed.
Something's moving towards us.
"Shh. Listen." I said to all.
There is something in the forest, coming right towards us, getting closer and closer.
I sniffed. Smelt like a bear, but I didn't know who that was.
"There's a bear around."
That bear continued to come towards us. I heard Spectrue getting up. I also heard a bear yelping. After that I heard a snap, then some yelling and screaming. That bear must have walked into a trap.
"Aah... let's go help that bear out..."

OOC: Yea...lots..
BiC: I stood quitly and listened the best I could. I heard no sound. Then a twig snapped once again. I stepped along trying to find whatever it was I tripped over, thinkin it must be a cub. Then another instant later I see something dangling up and down from a branch of a tree. Finally, I could make out that it was the very cub I was sniffing around for. He was wiggling around, trying his best to get out. I chuckled silently and walked slowly around him, studying him. Before I knew it, I bumped right into Niki.
"Oh...um...hi...Uh...See the bear?"
He nodded and motioned me to help him find the trap's let out thing. The spot where the trap is tied. I searched for it and under a patch of grass, I tugged on Niki, and showed it to him. I let him do the rest, and walked by Truttle and Koda and watched what else would happen.
OOC2:I'm done guys. I'm getting tired. I might post again later tongith but now? I'm hungry, so later.

Spec showed me where the trap is tied. Man can humans ever come up with some other types of trap? I thought to myself.
"Hang on, little cub."
I started to pick at the tie with my teeth. After a few seconds of picking, I felt it loosen and it pops out. I couldn't see how the trap threw him nor where he was going to land. I ran towards the spot where I predicted he would land. The cub landed on my back. I was quite good at guessing, huh.
"You Okay there, little cub? I've never seen you around. I'm Nikiski."

I was still dangling on the trap, I kept hearing some rusttle in the bushes, I could've sworn I heard some whispering. I was starting to get scared, I don't know what to expect now, first the trap now something or someone is stalking me or something. I tried one more time to free myself, but again I had no such luck, I was starting to get impatient. By the corner of my eye, I could see something moving. I turned my head, no one. This is getting freaky...
I sighed, "Could this get any wor-"
I was cut off when I got flung up in the air and landed on the back of a bear. He asked if I was ok, I nodded. He told me his name, Nikiski.
"Ummm...my name is...Ken'ichi..."
I never met these bears before, but at least I had to introduce myself. To tell you the truth, I was scared and shy. Now that I'm with these bears, what are they gonna do with me?

I listened to his story. He asked us where we are going.
"Ahh, we're going to the salmon run. Would you like to join us? I'm sure having another little bear with us will be a lot of fun!"

Nikiski has asked me from where I'm from. "Well, I just wander around the forest, last time I checked, I came from the mountains close from here and..."
I stopped, I don't want to tell them what really happened, I don't want to talk about my parents.
"I don't want to talk about it, I just came from the mountains, that's all."
I jumped off the bear's back and looked at them. "Well, thanks for helping me out of that trap."
Before I could walk away, they asked me to join them to the salmon run. I don't have anything left to do, except walk around like always. I turned back to them.
"Ok, why not..."

I thought it might be a good idea to go back to sleep, since right now we have two "pain in the neck"s with us. We should all catch some sleep...
"Let's get some sleep, we still've got quite a long way to go yet."
So all of us went back to the cave.
"G'd night everybody... see you in the morning."
Snores.
OOC~ In the morning, Ken'ichi and Koda can somehow wake us up... I guess?
