I can't believe this wolf's attitude! Sure not all of my beliefs will be right, as I learned that when my family was killed, but I still have my beliefs alive.
"At least I have hope..." I whisper to myself.
I look back to the river and saw some cubs playing.
"Ah, I forgot about Koda!" I say to myself, "He must be worried about us."
I look around to see if I could see him, but nothing.
OOC: Hey Koda, you can jump in now! Or Nikiski and Kadzait, lol. I love this RP

I had heard Ken'ichi's whisper. Frowning, I feel a bit guilty. But, it's the truth.
I blink in confusion when he mentions someone who I have not heard of before. "Ko-who?" I ask blankly, tilting my head.
Then I realize he was looking at some cubs, and ask, "Who's he? One of your little friends?"

Me and Nikiski are running, trying to make it to the salmon run before everyone else. Suddenly, I come to a skidding halt, nearly falling off the edge of a gorge, a river rushing below.
"Oy, forgot about that, eh." I look around, trying to think of how to get across. "What do you think, Nikiski?" I ask, looking around for a way across.

As Kadzait pauses right in front of the gorge, I stop and look around. It might be possible for Kadzait to jump across and make it to the other side, but I know that it is too far for me to jump across, being as heavy as a quater of a ton...
"Hey Kadzait, you see that tall rotten tree? I bet I can knock it down and we can walk across!"
So we run over, I put my paws on the trunk of the tree, lean my body weight against it, and start shaking the tree. I feel the tree gives away, snaps, and there! A log bridge!
"OK, now we'll just walk across..."
OOC~ Kadzait, do you feel like being chased? XD

I turned to Sila when she asked me who Koda was. 'Why should she care?' I thought.
"Koda, he's a good friend of mine." I tell Sila.
I turn again to the river and took another glance, but I couldn't see him. I pad over to the waterfall and look at the scene, can't see him. Either he's trying to scare me, or he's just wandering around with the other cubs.
"Anyway..." I turn to Sila, "If you don't mind, I'm going to look for him."
I pad away from Sila and the others to search for Koda. I just can't help it but when I'm around Sila, my dark side seems to come right out of me...

Nikiski nods over toward an old rotten tree, and says he can knock it over. We pad over toward it and he pushes it down. I am still amazed at the strength of a bear! He says we can now just walk across.
"Cool!" I say, and I hop on the log, starting my way across."
OOC: being chased? Sure why not! ;D

As I walk wobbily over the log bridge, I sniff something in the air. It's a different animal, but it smells dangerous. I turn around slowly, and see silver eyes flicker in the bushes, and then a full grown saber tooth tiger comes prowling out of the bushes. (OOC: don't know if they're in this time period, but what the hey!) BIC: I stiffen up, the saber tooth's large teeth are glimmering in the sunlight.
"Nikiski..." I say calmly, "Come across the log, slowly. This might be his territory, and he's angry at us for trespassing." Nikiski hops on the log and starts to cross, and I continue, looking back every few seconds at the tiger. Suddenly, he charges, letting out a roaring shriek.
"Nikiski! RUN!!!" I howl, running to the other side of the log.

Before I make my way, I notice something shining in the bushes behind us. Kadzait urges me to go across as quickly as possible.
"Hey wait Kadzait, something's not right... Look..."
I sniff around, a scent of... A CARNIVORE! Kadzait howls, telling me that there is a saber-tooth tiger.
"EErr..."
Out of the bushes, jumps out a saber-tooth tiger! The tiger jumps up unto the log, making it shakie for us to walk.
"Aah, hurry...!!"
Kadzait makes it to the other side, when I'm almost done, the tiger jumps and lands righ behind me.
"Aah!"
I try to walk faster, but it is hard to lose that tiger... The tiger attacks, and it almost gets my hinge leg.
Kadzait is just standing there, trying to help but can't.

I look at Nikiski trying to cross as fast as he can, but the tiger is hot on his heels. A little to hot for comfort. He slashes out at Nikiski, almost getting him. I am angered.
"Hey, buddy!" I yell at the tiger. He stops for a moment. hopefully that'll give Niki enough time to get across, and he hurries.
"What?" the tiger hisses.
"Leave us alone, eh?" I barked, scowling, the fur on my neck rising, as I try to appear big and mean.
"You trespassed! You deserve it!" He roared back, and started advancing again.
"Nikiski! Hurry, let's get out of here! There might me more where he came from. sure enough.
"Aw, I had to go an open my big mouth!" I sigh, as two more tigers come from the bushes, angry looks on both their faces. They too start across the log. Nikiski makes it to the other side, but we still have to outrun the sabers, which won't be easy. They charge!
"RUN!!"

"Good riddance," I mutter under my breath, watching Ken'ichi leave. By now I have no clue why I'm still here, but I decide to go at the side of the river, glaring at the salmon swimming underneath.
"What're you looking at?" I mutter at a random salmon, turning my head to glance back. Now that the only other wolf is gone, I'm starting to get in a foul mood again. I guess it's because I do think he's probably dead...and well, it's not exactly the same with other's not of my kind. Especially since I have enough trouble with my own kind.
I get up and stalk around, walking up to some trees and peeking for something to scare. I see a squirrel and growl at it, causing it to immediately scamper up a tree.
"Well there goes that sad excuse to try lighten my mood," I say to myself. I'm actually starting to think talking to myself is a bad habit...I mean, who does that a lot?
Sighing and walking back towards the river, I sit again. "I hope what you believe is right...Ken'ichi..." I whisper.

I hear a familiar voice calling my name, and as he comes into view, I run and tackle him.
"Ken'ichi!!!" I shout, giving him a big hug. "Where have you been? I was worried about you all night! I thought something ate you!" I grin at my friend, and wait for him to tell me about his ventures last night.
