Life with Koda

[Ken'ichi]

OOC: Welcome back Koda!

BIC: "Koda! Koda, where are you?!" I shout, trying to find my good buddy.

"Rats, not here." I say as I look around, "Where could he be?"

I take a few more steps, until someone tackles me from behind as he shouts my name, followed by a big hug that could take the air right out of me. I quickly realized it was Koda as I chuckled.

"Good to see ya again, buddy." I say to him.

He releases me and begins asking me where I was, what I did. I knew I shouldn't tell Koda EVERYTHING, as I promised Spectrue I wouldn't tell his secret.

"Well, I followed Spectrue to the mountain where the lights touch the earth, the others followed, we also found an old friend of Spectrue over there, so we decided to sleep over there for the night. Oh, and Spectrue left to see an old friend, so we should see him again in about two weeks."

I really had to shorten the details, I promised Spectrue not to say a word about what really happened up there.

I grab Koda and noogied him. "So what have you been up to here all this time in my absence?"

[Nikiski]

As Kadzait "negotiates" with the tiger, I manage to leap a few more steps closer to the other side.

"Hope this works..."

I whisper to myself. I have just enough time to get to the other side before the tiger starts to attack. Er... actually tigerS... now there are three of them... Kadzait yells and tells me to run, but how can I outrun those carnivores! I look at the log, an instinct comes to my mind: What if I push the log. Yeah, that should do it! So I turn around, facing the tigers... Kadzait shouts to me, but I am simply thinking of the best way to push this log into the water or so...

"Excuse me, Mr. Saber-tooth tiger."

I am trying to get more time before I can think of something to do.

"Yeah what's the matter with you? Aren't you afraid of me?"

"Oh, why do I have to be afraid? How much to you weight?"

"Oh, about 250 pounds."

"You see, I weight 250 KILOGRAMS! I don't think you can even move me a bit. So why should I be afraid?"

"Ya right, see my claws?"

"Ya. Do you see mine? They are about 15 centimetre long each."

Well they are for digging and usually won't even cut into other's flesh...

"...now see my teeth!"

The tiger starts to attack, when I quickly look at the log.

"Kadzait, now!"

We push it as hard as we can, and the log falls... along with the three saber tooth tigers...

"Heh, they are not so smart, are they?"

I chuckle and continue to run towards the salmon run with Kadzait.

[Kadzait]

I like the way that Nikiski is stalling with the tigers. I figure he is going to push the log off, which would be a good choice. I rush to his side.

"Say the word and I'm ready to help push it." I whisper in his ear, then shout out the tigers to keep them off guard.

"Yeah, don't mess with my pal here!" I snort at them.

[Kadzait]

OOC: I'ma just gonna go ahead heres, 'cause I need to finish up some stuff before I leave tomorrow morn! Hope you don't mind, Nikiski!

BIC: Nikiski starts to push the log, and I join in, it starts to shift and shake. The tigers get a terrified look in their eyes, and hurriedly run back over to their side. the log comes loose and sails down into the ravine below, creating an enormous splash. I slap Nikiski heartily on the back.

"Way to go, Nikiski!" I bark. The tigers on the other side roar at us.

"You haven't seen the last of us!" one roars, his angry silver eyes flashing with hate. I stick my tounge out at them.

"Alright, Nikiski, let's head to the salmon run!" We run the rest of the way (not too far) and arrive at the salmon run, where we see the rest of our group waiting.

"Ah, guess we lose the race?" I laugh, coming up by Sila, Truttle and Kanoa.

"Hey guys, did you miss us?" I laugh. Suddenly, some crows fly overhead, cawing madly. I hear something one of them says, and it grabs my attention. My heart feels like it's in my throat, and I look at the group.

"I'll be right back..." I stammer. I rush after the bird as he lands in a nearby tree, and demand to know what he was saying. He hops down on a nearby branch and then onto my shoulder. he then whispers somthing in my ear, and I freeze, unsure of what to do. I thank the crow, then walk stiffly and awkwardly back to my friends.

"Hey, guys...." I say, a littly shakily, "I have to go tend to some business, right now, but I will come back...." I pause. I hope I'll come back. "Anyway, it was nice to meet you all, and I'll return soon, once this matter has been uh...settled." I turn to Nikiski. "Thanks for being a great pal, don't you mess with those tigers while I'm away! I want a piece of em too!" I chuckle nervously. I turn to Truttle and Kanoa. "You guys are great, thanks for accepting me and all, I'll see you shortly." Lastly I turn to Sila. "No you be a good wolf, now, don't go picking on poor Truttle here!" I smile. "And remember what it's like to have fun!" I remind her. I look around for Ken'ichi. Blast, I had to leave and my little cub friend was nowhere in sight.

"Will you tell Ken'ichi to behave himself? Not to go after any hunters? Tell him I'll be back soon." I smile, nodding to the group. "See you shortly." I nod again, then I take off, running like the wind, with no idea how I was going to handle what I had to do.

OOC: Alrighty everyone, I'm off for the night and for the rest of the week. I'll see you all next Saturday, hopefully, unless we get back too late to do so! Have fun here, and keep the roleplay alive!
See you when I'm back! I'll also tell you what's going on when I return, something to do with Kadzait's past!

OOC: Sounds good to me! Well...my time is nearly up...mine's well say bye...

OOC~ No I don't mind... it's alright with me!! Have fun at Disneyland eh?

BIC~

As we arrive at the run, we see the waiting group. Kadzait says he guess we've lost the race and laughs. I join in with him and laugh.

A group of crows fly by our heads, and Kadzait seems to be bothered by one of them I guess, and he runs off to chase after them.

"Hey, Kadzait, where're ya going?"

Well, I thik I'll just let him chase the crows. I turn to the rest of the group.

"Aah, so what's up guys... who won the race? You, Ken'ichi?"

As Kadzait comes back, I notice that there must be something wrong. He looks stiff and awkward. Then he tells us that he needs to go do some business... Kadzait turns to me, telling me not to mess with those tigers...

"Oh yeah, don't worry, I wait for ya!"

And Kadzait turns to other people and say good byes.

[Chasca]

OOC: Bye! And have lots of fun, both of you!

BIC:

When I first had seen Nikiski and Kadzait, I felt relieved. But, when Kadzait had said he was leaving, I felt a sudden pang...no, not in my heart, mind you, more like a 'oh great, the only wolf I've met is now going bye-bye for a while' pang.

I managed to smirk when Kadzait had turned to speak to me, though it was kind of forced and I'm sure it looked weak.

But, hey, it's better then him being buried under some lava or something. Still, it seems like most of the others...don't really like me. Not that I blame them; I wouldn't like me if I were to meet me. But I'm worried that they won't be as...tolerable now that he's gone. Ah well, if not, I can always just go. Still...it's kind of a shame. But hey, what was I supposed to expect?

Of course, instead of saying any of this aloud, or even looking like I'm thinking, I say, "What is with everyone leaving so suddenly?"

[Nikiski]

Sila is now the only wolf in our group, ah well, I don't mind... I give a friendly smile.

"Don't worry Sila, so yeah, you're going to stick around? Don't worry, you're fine here... No worries!"

I turn to the rest of the bears.

"So, what are you guys going to do now..?"

[Chasca]

I look uneasily at the ground, and then reply, "Uh huh..."

After that I remain silent, watching and masking any interest with a look of boredom. Mainly because I don't want be too rude and have no chance of ever being less than hated, and also because I can't think of a sarcastic reply. Or, I don't feel like thinking of one.

I decide that the ground's actually pretty interesting. After all, look at all the little...specks of dirt and stuff.

[Nikiski]

Looking at Sila's expression... I think that she must be bored or something... But how can I possibly know what a wolf likes to do?

"Uuh, Sila, what do you usually do for fun?"

I'm hoping that she will tell me something... so that I can try to be with her...

[Chasca]

Hearing Nikiski's question I look up from the ground. I shrug, frowning. "I don't really have time for that pleasure most animals take for granted. When you've been traveling on your own for a while--" I pause, my mouth hanging open. Oh, no. Did I just say that out loud? Greeeat! There goes my excuse from before.

But, I can at least try to cover it up. "Erm, I mean, I'm kinda often responsible for my pack...so I'm usually ahead of them, to make sure there's no trouble. So I don't really have time for fun," I say, trying really hard to sound calm.

[Nikiski]

"I don't really have time for that pleasure most animals take for granted. When you've been traveling on your own most of your life--"

"What? You've been travelling on YOUR OWN most of your life?"

"Erm, I mean, I'm kinda often responsible for my pack...so I'm usually ahead of them, to make sure there's no trouble. So I don't really have time for fun."

"Hhm... OK..."

I look at Sila as she is trying to cover up what she said wrong earlier on... but I think no matter what her past is like, it doesn't better... Hakuna Matata!

"Well, so ya wanna have some fun?"

I jump up unto higher ground as I say.

"Com'on, I'll show you some!"

[Chasca]

OOC: WHEE! Hakuna Matata! *bursts into song* XD

BIC:

I sigh in relief as it looks like my rather bad cover-up actually worked. Or maybe he's real gullible. I don't really care which way...it seemed to work, and that's all that matters.

When Nikiski asks me if I want to have some fun, I glance down, then back up, then...well basically anywhere before I slowly reply, "Uhm...sure..."

I easily jump up on the higher ground with him, and then ask hesitantly, "Uhm...how?"

[Nikiski]

Sila is beside me now. We are actually by a long water slide run. I turn to her, smiling.

"Now this is one kinda fun you can get around here!"

I push her into the water, and watch her going down the twist and turns of the slide. I jump into the water after a few seconds just to make sure I won't collide with her... You know, I'm quite big!

"Ya---hoo----!"

[Kanoa]

~OOC~ Wait..I'm DEFINATELY lost here..*looks around*..It's 3 whole pages long since I left for awhile..Man, you guys are goood..
Where should I start..hmm?

I sat under a tree, relaxing and taking it easy. My eyes suddenly popped wide quicky, as I heard the loud voice of Niki (~OOC~ Whao, did it rymth there?)

I saw Chasca and Niki sliding down the slide, my eyes were opened big and wide.

~OOC~ d**n poetry..anyway, any of guys watched Around The World In 80 Days? I couldnt believe Arnold Swazzanager (Waz hiz name?) was the King of Turky (I think)
